Ive never looked up a health inspection report for a restaurant/carryout. Until now. Why? The area is cringe; way too many people hanging around trying to sell cigarettes and the exterior of the establishment looks like garbage - which was the only noteworthy thing listed in a recent inspection (food issues were minor). Ordered online, they didnt notice it so I had to wait; as someone else pointed out, this isnt new - they dont even accept payment online (Visa, MC, cash) so online ordering is pointless. One item wasnt available so it was replaced. Had to show I.D. (no alcohol) for using a card because they dont trust the community - which, unfortunately, I kind of understand, though, according to their menu, theyve been there since the 90s and newer dining establishments (in the neighborhood) dont do this. Unsure if they accept EMV/NFC payments since they took the card with my I.D. Dirty waiting area with broken arcade machines on the left side, which looked really odd - why? Why are a bunch of broken arcade machines calling the waiting area of your restaurant "home?" Food was actually pretty good - far better than "Kitchen No. 1" across the street. They dont deliver but even if they did, I doubt Ill return because of the archaic processes and unkempt appearance.
