Newport Family Restaurant Is a great lace to eat .. Really Really good food . Everything they make is homemade and always fresh.. I have been eating her off and on for about 10 years . And not once did I ever had to complain about anything.. And I mean anything.. The waitress and everyone that works there are great and very nice .. I look at it this way . If you come in acting like an ass ...Then you will be treated like an ass and will be ask to get out .. Just remember. ..They didnt piss in your cheerios so dont come in acting like its there fault you are having a bad day.. They are the best people you will ever meet. And at that note I will leave it to that.. Thank you to everyone at Newport Family Restaurant.. ( your the best)

I have been eating at this place for over 30 years when they were down the street.. When I left for the navy when I was 18 this was the one place I would always eat breakfast at when I came home. I had to have my creamed chip beef on toast with home fries and a side of Scrapple. I have had the same waitress for at least 20 years. I may not come home for a year or more but as soon as I walk in she remembers me. I am the 4th generation that had eaten here.. This place is truly a land mark.. Go have breakfast! Bring cash!

When we first walked in they were busy so it was kinda clustered by the door. It is seat yourself so we were waiting for a table. A lady walked by with a tray of food..I later found out her name was Holly..she said excuse me hot food then told me to move. That set me over the edge and we almost left. You never tell someone to move. My thing is shes taking care of people when they come in and shes that rude!!!! I was appalled. Our server was great and the food was good. Holly really left a bad taste in my mouth

We struggled to find a decent breakfast place in the Pike Creek area. Well, I think weve finally found it! Newport Restaurant! A great breakfast for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend, but if you go on a Saturday, get there early, as they do get crowded after 8:00am. Cash only, though - no credit cards accepted.

This is a diner type restaurant. The wait staff is "hit or miss" where some servers are terrific while others leave you waiting on everything including drinks & refills. The hours are somewhat limited especially on Sundays. The food is wonderful though. I have never gotten anything that wasnt delicious.

Good is great, But the service is lousy. They have a seat yourself policy which in return can have you setting for ten minutes or more without a server. They need to get a hostess and have sections and be more organised.
