It is difficult to find words to describe how surprisingly, shockingly, unexplainably rude our waitress was. That is the subject of the majority of this review; if youd like to hear about the food and are willing to take your chances with just not getting this person as your server, then my opinion on the food is that its very good, and I absolutely recommend it. Maybe do take-out, though. For reference, shes taller, dark hair, thin face, of Eastern Asian descent. Perplexing attitude and approach toward customer service. Our first contact with our waitress consisted of her walking up and saying very rapidly "Ready to order?" No other words. I thought to myself, okay, no big deal, maybe shes the only server and its a packed house. We ordered, and she turned and left without having said anything else. Nothing except "Ready to order?" Okay, still not a big deal. Our food is brought out by other people; we eat, and our waitress does not return, although she does walk by us every two or three minutes. We have both emptied our water glasses and theyve been sitting at the edge of the table for five minutes or so at this point, and the waitress walks by, back and forth, without looking at us. My girlfriend has to flag her down - still not really a big deal, happens all the time - and this is when it got weird. Coincidentally, the waitress was bringing our check at the same time that my girlfriend was flagging her down for water. Waitress drops the check on the table without having said *literally anything* to us since our arrival except "ready to order?". At this point she does say something to the effect of thanks for coming, but its terse, not more than six words. She then turns, and is walking away as my girlfriend asks her for water. Waitress turns, gives her the coldest stare as she is asked for water, turns, and leaves. No speech from her. Returns with water and sloshes it into our glasses as though she was practicing for some international glass-filling speed contest. Then, she whacks those glasses back onto the table and shes gone. The only words she said the entire time were "ready to order" and whatever she said immediately after she put the check on the table. And she gave my girlfriend just the nastiest look Ive ever seen a complete stranger give another, let alone a waitress in a restaurant with a customer who *hasnt* just gut-punched the waitresss dying mother. We spent at least a half-hour theorizing as to why she was so horribly abrupt with us. She was pleasant and talky to everyone else, as far as we could tell, especially one table, with which she spent approximately ten minutes talking while they were ordering. Maybe we look like her former neighbors who ran over her dog and then slapped her when she asked if theyd seen said dog? Perhaps we forgot that we were wearing our Klan hoods; that is the only other possible explanation I can come up with as to why someone, especially someone in a service industry, would treat a basically inoffensive couple out for a quiet bite to eat as though they were at the very least a pair of child molesters. The food itself was quite good. I got the fried chicken and it was a little too fatty for me, but I just didnt know what cut of the chicken itd be when I ordered, so no foul there. My girlfriends pork was delicious and both of us really enjoyed it. Still not sure if they have a dessert menu, although if they did, it probably would have arrived at our table by having been flung at our heads by the waitress, so perhaps that is for the best. YMMV, of course, depending on who you get as your server. Everyone else was really nice. I personally would definitely get take-out there again, but given that experience, I dont think Id eat in a second time.

I got in easy terms the spicy BBQ, Maeun Bulgogi, comes with plenty of extras like rice, Kim chee, cabbage and a few other things. Perfect amount for one person. That, a soda and a beer came out to $31 with tip. I read some of the reviews about poor service and couldnt disagree more. I was greeted and seated promptly, food came out quick and was EXCELLENT. At first I was the only patron but as the meal went on I noticed others were treated the same. I like to think you can tell if the restaurant is good if the people of that culture would eat there. They had 4 groups of Asians come to eat while I was there. Cant say they had been Korean but they are doing something right. Ill be eating here for the rest of my stay in Delaware.

Friendly service, free side dishes (i think refills are charged now, but hey, tough times for us all) and the food is so good. Really feels like you are in someones home and theyre cooking for you. Really tight seating area, not many tables, sometimes weve pulled up and looked inside and had to go somewhere else. So be aware of peak dining hours. I wish they had more Asian beer to choose from, they only have OB and Sapporo (bleh). The BBQ (feeds 2-3people depending on which version you order) is fun.. you can cook the meat yourself on their tabletop grills or have the cook in the back do it for you. Definitely go!

I read the reviews here and had to try this place. My girlfriend and I have a lot of Korean friends so weve had some good k-food before. This food is great for a medium price. I wish they did more advertising so I had found this place earlier.

My family and I have toyed this restaurant numerous times. We typically get bulgogi, kalbi, or the BBQ squid. Sadly, they took the tongue of the BBQ menu. The banchan is pretty good, not as good as Kal-bee. The clam soup is amazing.

When we walked in and saw this place completely packed, with mostly local Koreans, we knew the food would be very good. Table cleared for us in less than 3 minutes, best meal during entire road trip

This is a great family owned restaurant with helpful and friendly service. They helped us to try our first Korean BBQ, and weve now gone back twice to explore even more of the menu!

Place was ok. Didnt like that they kept insisting on cooking the food for me. We go to Korean BBQ to cook our own food at the table. Otherwise Id just order takeout some where.
