Best Mexican in Middletown. Friendly service, great food and prices. in Igrew up on Mexican home cooking in San Diego. This is the closest to authentic I know of in Delaware today other than a few taqerias. Its become the goto restaurant for the family. The majority of the clientele when Ive been here have been native Spanish speakers. Chips and salsa are required for sit down Mexican here, so they serve it. Surprise, no hot sauce on the table. You can get spicy enough to make me feel the heat with good flavor. The tamales are like I remeber growing up as are the marinated beef and pork. Good selection of Mexican beer. My previous two favorite Mexican restaurants are gone (owners moved back to Mexico) or gone south. Im hoping that theyve got just enough gringo fair to keep enough locals to be viable.

We had a gift certificate, so we went there for lunch. The decor was like sub shop meets mexican art gallery. A tiny flat screen was playing a hispanic cooking channel. Dining area was not very cozy, no booths. Service was fair, the server was multi tasking so he was distracted but pleasant. Food seemed to take a long time coming 25 minutes. Food was edible but not tasty. Food was not hot, a disapointment. Weve been to many diferent mexican restaurants and ALL of them were much better than this, even Taco Bell is better.

Very Good Food and Great Staff. Very patient explaining so much of a diverse menu. Negative 2 year ago reviews definitely do not reflect the food we encountered. Love how they will make you whatever you want even if it is not on the menu. Everything is so fresh and great taste. Best steak chimi ever had hands down! The brown sauce made the whole dish!

Great little restaurant - service is fantastic and very friendly, authentic Mexican tacos, superb tortas, guacamole is fantastic. Probably the best Mexican restaurant in DE - I highly recommend. To the reviewer below: if you want cheese sauce and quesadillas (which arent real Mexican food), go to Taco Bell.

Salsa is nothing but enchilada sauce. No cheese dip. Awkward environment. I could not even bear to eat the first bite of the quesadilla I ordered. It was so bas that I spit it out and immediately went outside and ordered from crapplebees while my husband settled the check... could not leave fast enough!

New ownership has really turned this place around. The food is authentic and made from scratch. The tortillas, Steak, burritos, sauces and guacamole are amazing. The service is friendly and efficient. I recommend this family owned establishment to anyone who wants a high quality, authentic experience.

The food is the best Mexican around. Dont let its small dining area and being in a strip mall deter you. The place is cute, clean and the employees are super nice and will make your food as spicy as you want it! I love this place.
