I came across the owners business card in the lobby of my OBs office. I visited the website and was encouraged by the reviews. Long story short, they must have been paid or friends and family. I wandered in on a slow Saturday over the summer with my husband and infant son. The owner was at the counter talking to another young girl and didnt even acknowledge us when we walked in and took several minutes to finish their conversation before deigning to bestow her attention on us; and, when she did, had such a bad attitude that I wanted to turn around and walk out. I should have followed my instinct. There was no selection, which she blamed on a busy day the day before (per her site, the pastries were made fresh daily). Also, there were flies inside the cases which she made no effort remove. Against our better judgement, we ordered 5 cupcakes and realized upon leaving that we had been charged for 6. When I went back in to tell her this, she just about rolled her eyes and handed me the extra one. Upon finally tasting the cupcakes, my husband and I were not impressed. They were stale and dry having probably been sitting out in that case from the previous day. We wound up throwing the rest away. $15 well spent.

2.5 stars. I have used Half Baked for all my familys birthdays for 4 years (3+ times/ year) And theyve been FANTASTIC every year but this year (2016). I emailed the owner for a custom cake (like I usually do) with plenty of advance notice (3 weeks) and get ZERO response. My 2 kids birthdays are 1 month apart and year after year they get my business... But this year, I get a cake one month and get no response 2 weeks later? Had to find somewhere else for the second cake. Unfortunate for them other place was better, so our business may be lost to them. Sad that one bad experience can spoil someones opinion.

Amazing cherry cheesecake for Valentines----amazing price too! Was so fresh and was the New York style cheesecake I was longing for. Very busy when I went to the shop but the cake was ready to go and beautifully presented in the box. I am just sorry I didnt use this bakery for my daughters wedding as I know they would have done a great job. Thank you HBP!

I order all my cakes, cupcakes, and sweet treats from Half Baked. The cakes are very moist and flavorful. The cupcakes are to die for ! My son who has many food allergies is able to enjoy a vegan cupcake too. The gluten free is just as good ! They make healthy food taste yummy ! A must try !!

Cupcakes are always moist but the icing is overly sweet and piled a little too high. They arent great on last minute orders but thats to be expected. I wish their hours were more friendly for 9-5ers. They are great in the community and Im excited to see them grow.

Although I did find the personnel to not be as friendly or welcoming as I would have liked for a small business, the cupcakes were all delicious. Each one in our group got a different type and we were all pleased. I would go back again.

Was incredibly rude to the mother-of-the-bride after our wedding. Also charged us a random amount on our credit card after the sale, which will be disputed with my bank. Terrible business ethics. Stay far away.

Called them to see if they could together 24 cupcakes for a last minute birthday....absolutely the most unhelpful employee answered the phone. He couldnt be bothered! Will never use them again.
