Will never go again. Went in for dinner on the weekend as I read on yelp that supposedly it has the finest Italian in Winsted. It was decently packed but not necessary busy. We waited to be seated for 30 min as no one welcomed or even acknowledge us as 3 workers passed right by us. Then an older lady came to us in a rude manner and told us to wait by the bar. We were then seated at the bar as they prepared our table, which was another 15min. Finally after sitting down, frustrated of the service and hungry, we looked through the menu as the waiter gave us our water, which was lukewarm. Out of frustration, I called over another waiter and asked for water and ice, which she brought out with bread as a starter. The bread was cold and stale. It was hard to chew and made me wonder how long the bread had been out for. I was really frustrated by this time, but since we had already ordered, we decided to stay. It cant get anymore worse than this right? The food that we were so very anxious of, came out and of course mediocre. Overall I was disappointed in their so called fine taste and most of all, their service.

Caesar salad was great, pizza was just ok,service was ok,however I went with my husband and 9 year old son and there was a " gentleman" at the bar who had a horrible filthy mouth.every other word out of his mouth was a swear.No one on staff acknowledged that there was a family sitting right behind him,all they did was laugh at him and make fun of him for being there since 3 in the afternoon.it was 9:30 when I was eating dinner.So to sum it up the food was ok but apparently they dont want familys there just filthy mouth drunks.So we will not be going back.thank you.

We eat at Monacos at least once a week if not twice. We love to take advantage of pasta tues/wed but even without the special we would go. There pizza is the most amazing there is. Homemade each and every day. All ingredients either made in house or imported. Only the finest and its reflected in the food. Cant say enough for the homemade roasted peppers/salami/proscutto app. one of our faves. Just too many to mention. And the atmosphere is very family oriented. You feel like youre at "Cheers" where everybody knows your name. Love it!

This is a very nice small and quiet restaurant! The food is really good and very inexpensive. The place is very clean and very well decorated. The staff is very welcoming, attentive, and they are very fast with welcoming and serving you. They have a pretty sizeable menu as well.

Townie bar first and a restaurant second. Pleasant atmosphere and sweet attentive staff. Unfortunately the menu offerings were too classy for this establishment and poorly executed. _All_ dishes were mediocre, underwhelming, and overpriced.

What a wonderful surprise! Found this place after deciding not to dine down the road. Seated right away. Fabulous service and food. Cant wait to return to try more delights! Went a second time. Best Marsala sauce I have ever had! Wow!

Good food! We went on a Wednesday and they have pasta night served with salad and bread. Pasta sauces are homemade and are really good! Homemade tiramisu is worth trying too!
