I once endorsed the restaurant as if it were my own. The food always was and still is "Great." I have noticed a severe decline in service staff since the restaurant opened. Will I go back? yes. The servers need more training on being polite. For example when handing off the check at least slow down so the entire booklet does not fall upon customers lap. When picking up the payment ask something about the payment or the visit. Dont just run past and snatch it from table. I am usually a 20-22 % tipper. Being a server is a hard job and I respect them tremendously. I have to admit I gave less than 15%. My meal was very good. I just remembered after a few hours of trying to figure out what the servers problem was. Yeah it was that bad.

My partner and I dined at Black Rock on Wed night this week. We both had the filet along with the apple, cranberry salad. Everything was great! I the past 8 years living here, we have found that the food palettes in this area are really lacking. We have been disappointed in meals time and time again. We decided to try Black Rock, the decor could be improved, but the wait staff was fine and the Chef filling in that night did a suburb job. I would return again and recommend it.

Went last nite. Atmosphere was very dim lit and laid back. My wife really loved the bread with the olive oil dip offering. The meals were fresh, its nice to see restaurants still serving sweet potato fires. The prices were very reasonable and the service was very prompt and friendly. Nothing bad to report, will visit again.

Nice atmosphere, and the food is good. Highly recommend the scallops and seaweed salad app. Delicious! The waitress got my order wrong and could not have cared less. But other than that, we enjoyed everything.
