Pork was nasty, very low quality meat which was mostly just fat (they said it was pork), beef was stiff and hard to chew. This was easily the worst chinese buffet Ive ever been to. I usually, leave a tip even if it is bad, but this was so gross that I just couldnt. Went to wash my hands and the washroom seemed clean, but it smelled bad. I washed my hands and the soap smelled like rotten eggs. I asked my wife to smell it just to make sure it wasnt just me trying to find something bad but she confirmed. At this point I approached the hostess and asked her to smell a sample of the soap they had for people to use. She agreed it was disgusting. I saw a few other people come in and leave after their first plate...... FML, I was so hungry after paying my $38 bill because I was incapable of eating anyhing here. Super nasty.

Me and my wife went there with our 8months old baby for lunch. We were new to chinese food. To my surprise, I was pleasantly surprised. I liked it as much my wife did. Everything was going just well until my wife found dead fly in her meal. We called manager of the restaurant and all she offered was another meal to exchange with explanation that flies do get in the kitchen when they open back door. That was more then good reason for us to stay away from Essex Junction Grand Buffet.

Average chinese buffet. The food tastes bland to me compared to other chinese buffet Ive been too from out of state but that could be a regional difference. The food bar was well stocked and cleaned. The lo mein was too greasy and the dessert cakes were like cardboard. The best thing here was the honey chicken and sweet and sour chicken (hard to mess the latter up).

A perfect place to bring the family! The staff is friendly and energetic, the food is fantastic, we had a bit of everything, and we were very pleased. The staff was playful with our little one, who got a kick out of their jokes, and waived good bye when we left to each of them, it was very cute. Worth checking out, and we will be going back :)

This was such a great place for Chinese Id go back almost every day if I live closer. The assortment of food and desserts was the best Ive had since I lived in SC. I highly recommend it to all, the service was so good, we were all impressed ! If you want to try a new place everyone is certain to enjoy go tonight.

The food was okay, could have been way better. The wait staff was very pushy. Was not busy, but they put are check on the table after only two plates. Seems like they were in a rush to get us out of there... So thats why i only gave them 2 stars. Hopeful its better next time, or there will NOT be a time after

Handmade wontong soup, the sweet and sour soup is very good too, i asked the sushis ladie to cool some special avocado salmon for me and my wife, no problem, fresh sushis. The spicy mayo is delicious, i will go back for sure next time i will be there. 12,99$ all you can eat sushis its a very good deal!!!

Pretty standard Chinese buffet. Nothing exceptional, just a ton of cheap options. I didnt try anything I disliked. No Mac and cheese though...Ive always assumed that was a staple at Chinese buffets. There was pizza though.

One of the reasons that Grand Buffet is so good. The staff actually handles and preps the food. Here the GM and floor manager prepare green beans for the evenings service. Grand Buffet for your next lunch or dinner.

Slightly better than average asian buffet style restaurant. A plus is that they have a selection of non asian food like pizza and sausage. A bit dark inside and some of the food is a bit watery, like the fish.

Food is great most of the time. I would not suggest their steamed fish. Waitresses are very grumpy seeming. Also beware of getting near the people who fills the food bins. They do no like you haha

Always great food. For a buffet not in Vegas, Im always surprised at how fresh the food tastes. Im used to buffets that are kinda stale and dry, but their food is always fresh and delicious.

The buffet has a huge selection in the prices are reasonable. Ive never seen a place that has more dessert or choices four different types of meal options.
