Oh my god the service is great. Not fancy restaurant great, but homey restaurant great. I travel to South Korea often, and this is the only place really close to eat South Korean food. Everything tastes just like Seoul, and nothing is Americanized. The eating area is a soft color with comfortable spacing between tables, unlike South Korea, probably because our American guts takes more room. Great parking too. The only problem is that the prices are close to 3 times more than in South Korea, but so is everything in America. Not their fault as American rent is way higher, and many of the vendor options have no price control. Try the Jeon. Wow. And the kimchi is far better than you will find any where else. The dinner was the best Ive ever in a long time. With so many Chinese, Japanese, and Thai restaurants crammed into every corner, you have to try Korean food. Only they can make vegetables feel like a whole meal.

My wife and I went here for dinner tonight, 12/18/15, I got my food relatively quick but my wife didnt get hers, when we asked they said they were cooking it and it would be right out. When it came it was ice cold, like it was just taken out of the refrigerator. She took a couple bites and put it aside, I also disliked my food, it was not what I expected and put it aside. I called over the manager and he explained to me that because I ate some that he could not take it off my bill. I questioned him, how am I supposed to know if I like something if I cant try it? He continued to say the same thing that he can not take it off because I ate some. I have in and agreed to pay because I did not want to make a scene. These people are very unprofessional and dont seem to know much about their menu and what is in their dishes.

The food is amazing, there is more than just tofu. Something to note, some of the included appetizers are supposed to be cold. Please do not rate them poorly because you didnt know. This is a great place to try new things and the staff is always friendly. Again, there is more than just tofu so dont be put off by the name if tofu isnt your thing. Never thought I would like tofu...I was doing myself a disservice waiting so long. Kind of like egg whites.

I have eaten here well over a dozen times and I am never disappointed. The food is amazing. The best Korean food in Connecticut in my opinion. The ban chan are always fresh and always changing. The entrees are plentiful and prepared really well. The staff listens to me when I ask for it to be really spicy. The staff is incredibly friendly. The restaurant is clean. And the pat bing soo at the end is a nice touch.

Three of us shared kimchi rice, a large fried tofu, and leek pancake. Despite it being well-prepared and delicious, we couldnt even finish it. The waiter was super friendly and funny. The bill was less than $20 each with a tip and included small appetizer plates and shaved ice for dessert. Legit! Im coming back.

The customer service is superb. Theyre always smiling and making sure everything is good. I tried the mixed seafood soup (Jjam bbong bap), the flavor was excellent and the portion was filling. This place has been added to my gem list. Prices are reasonable and inexpensive.

One of my favourite places in the area... Or in general. Its very good and I find myself craving it a lot. Service is great, very clean, youll often find families dining on the weekends, and you get a few appetizers to try. Definitely worth trying.

Amazing food! The wait staff is extremely attentive and polite. There are many options on the menu as well, vegetarian and with meat. You also get free sides! I highly recommend the kimchi or dumpling soup. Nice to have Korean food nearby.

Just moved into US from Europe, as a Chinese, I think Angry Tofu is the most authentic Asian restaurant in Hartford area. The service is also awesome. Highly recommend.
