We had one of the best dinners ever at Sun and Moon. The steamed dumplings were awesome, light and flaky with delicious filling. I too will be craving them till I go back for more. The shrimp fried rice was perfect, could taste each distinct ingredient from the toasted sesame seeds...loved it. Also the pork with kimchi and rice was wonderful with a sweet tangy taste. They brought small bowls of pickled radishes, cucumbers and kimchi that was all homemade and wonderful. The young man that was our waiter was very attentative as well as the other waitress. The restaurant was busy, but we had excellent service. Very glad we made the choice to have dinner there. The restaurant is an older establishment, but did not detract from the whole experience, gave it a very family run business feel.

Nothing short of amazing! The flavors will blow your mind, Fresh ingredients, well prepared and served with a smile. We started with the vegetable fried dumplings, which were well done and not greasy at all. I had the BiBimBap in a bowl with beef and my boyfriend had BulGoGi. So little sauce, but so much flavor. The restaurant is small and in an area of East Providence few people visit, but it is safe. Theyll give you chopsticks, but forks are available if you need them. If you like good food, this is the place to go. Absolute perfection.

This is a nice mom and pop restaurant. We came here years ago when they only occupied one small side of the building. Although I do find the portion size for the price paid is somewhat lacking. The last time we came I had the beef stock soup and it pretty much tasted like water. I will probably frequent again if we are in the mood for Korean AND are in the area. I wouldnt go out of my way just to go here again until those issues improve.

Have been going to this family owned korean restaurant for over 10 years. Still the original owners and no matter how long between visits the food is always excellent. If anything the dishes have become even more refined. There is something on the menu for just about everyone. From basic vegetable dishes, to marinated meats, to spicy squid topped dishes. I have been to other korean restaurants locally and always go back to this one.

Decent Korean food, but way overpriced. The chef came out and asked us how the food was, we told him it was good, but we were a bit disappointed with the beef (at $20 we expected a larger portion- ~ half the weight of the beef was bone and fat). The Chef then proceed to justify his dish by telling us how the beef costs HIM $20+/lb and that he loses money on that dish. And with that I wont be going back.

Food was amazing, the owner and his wife were very informative as was the the waitress answered a lot of questions. I was stationed in Korea for a year and this brought me back to include the soju in a kettle! Only in area for 2 weeks but definitely plan on returning before heading back to Maine! Even took kim chi home with me it is awesome!!

Took my wife for dinner, four Korean women walked in after us, told the waitress we was here first, we was told it was going to be a 20-25 mins wait. The four women was sat before us, I guess b/c we didnt speak Korean. Spoke with the owner and walked out and enjoy our dinner else where

Great food! First experience with Korean food and really enjoyed. Could not have had a better first impression. I ordered the spicy pork with kimchi and found it to be delicious. The restaurant is small but the service was great and the staff was friendly. Will definitely return.

Food is a great. But I have an allergy to shellfish, so I am limited on what I can eat. Food is sometimes inconsistent in ingredients. The black bean noodles may or may not have shellfish based on day, as Ive had them without it, but recently they say there is some in it.

THE FOOD IS WONDERFULL AND THE PEOPLE ARE SPECTACULAR. Ive never been to Rhode island without stopping here. I strongly suggest the udon noodles and galbi these are both not spicy but if you like spicy food I suggest the kimchee gigae.

The best korean restaurant in US.. The wonderful taste from fresh ingredients. They use the korean best tofu and high quality rice. I truly recommend this restaurant for people who want to try a real korean food in Providence.

Since kim-chi is heaven this place is holy. It really is the ultimate good food find. You will not be disappointed, if you are I strongly suggest you quit smoking and get a tongue transplant. Looks can be deceiving.
