Restraunt which is not worth going to!!! Me & my wife went in looking at the most crowded restraunts thinking that food might be delicious, but we were 100% wrong, food was not worth the price charged, quantity was not as expected (might be i am a foodie), management was horrible, attitutde was on the top of the world. I could hear the sam coments from the table behind me where a bunch of friends speaking the same thing. We ordered 3 items Hakka Noodels and Veg Manchurian (which took us only 40 mins to get the food) and Masala Dosa(which apparently we never got and after telling them we ordered masala dosa, the answer which we got was amazing, Sir, its too crowded.........since we never got the dosa we asked them to cancel the order and give us the cheque, and suddenly our dosa appered on the table which looked like a stale item popped out of the fridge or a left over, which obviously looking at it we returned...and the management or the people at the counter had no regrets and showing attitude as if we were at fault and we should expect and should have waited for 50 mins to get a Dosa. Rest is your choice!!!

The worst ever restaurant I have experienced... The items doesnt taste as good and the taste is utterly worst... Vegetable Biryani is useless, Mirchi Pakoda is useless and the Dosa, Idli, Medhu Vada they serve are tasteless and cold.. Useless management who doesnt care when complained... For instance, one of the management persons served the Vegetable Biryani to us and it fell off the bowl while he is serving; watching it fell he never had the courtesy to even say sorry nor has a brain to clean it. How worst is it of the cooks removing the trash from the main entrance besides the tables you sit while you are eating.. Yukk!!!! USELESS MANAGEMENT DONT HAVE THE BRAINS THAT CUSTOMERS ARE EATING AND THEY TAKE THE TRASH BAGS FROM BESIDES YOU... I dont recommend and we wont ever go there again... Its worth going to another Indian Restaurant than this. One short person and one normal height person from the Management are always seen in the Restaurant, very rude persons and dont care the customers at all...

I was craving some authentic South Indian food so decided to try this place. This place was walking distance from my hotel. The place is not huge and has few sit down tables. When I walked in there was a small group on one table so they were not very busy. After looking at the menu for 10mins and waiting for somebody to stop by at my table I had to wave my hand to get attention so that I can place my order. Not a good sign when the restaurant is not even busy. I ordered the Gobi Manchurian (cauliflower made Indian Chinese type) and also had the Masala Andhra dosa. Gobi Manchurian was just average and wasnt made the it should be. My dosa wasnt spicy at all though it had good flavors. For dessert I ordered gajar ka halwa(carrot desert) but they forgot about my dessert order and after waiting for 15 mins I decided to pay my cheque and leave. It was then the guy behind the cash counter realized that they goofed up and did apologize. Overall my experience here wasnt that good.

The service is really bad and unprofessional. They dont care if you like the food or not . They serve while attending to customers on line / over phone. Rude tone and the cooks are also not professional in their behaviour. They mock and laugh at people . Is this how you run a business ? With all veg menu but stale paneer ? If you try to complain, they raise their voice and say they are not reaponsible to check what the cook is making and whether it is properly cooked/ served. Im sorry but you gotta work a lot on how you provide your services/ treat your customer. Its one of the few options available for a veg restaurant in town. Would be nice if you could be nicer to people.

While the food is pretty good, Navaratna really needs to improve their service. I once walked in to the restaurant and was ignored for several minutes. When I finally flagged down the server, the server told me that the restaurant was closed. And when I pointed out that their closing time listed on their website was 40 minutes away, the server told me that I wouldnt get served for 45 minutes if I want to stay. Then, he lead me to a dirty table with no utensils, despite the fact that there was a clean table with the table settings already in place right next to it. Ive enjoyed the food, but Ive never seen a restaurant work so hard to not get my business.

food isnt bad but the service sucks!!! if you get take out make sure you call 1 hour in advance. and even when they know they screwed up they have a hard time apologizing. when i picked up my take out they took my money but then i became invisible to them until i chased one of them down to ask what was going on. even after that it took another 10 mins for them to even tell me what was going on. as i was leaving a bunch of other people that were dining in complained about the wait times. the staff didnt even check on their meal so the people just paid for their drinks and left. the staff didnt seem overly concerned or apologetic.

Wow what a wonderful surprise! To start off the staff couldnt be more professional and plain old nice. I went there with a vegetarian, and must say there is no need to add meat to these wonderful creations. I didnt feel like I was missing something in my meal, I felt I received a combination of ingredients that were phenomenal. This is my new spot, our new favorite restaurant. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 1 order of bread, and a soda for less than $40. So it is a great deal too. Dont pass this place up if you have the chance.

Excellent service. All the dishes were delicious and made fresh. The staff is very responsive and accommodating. They took away empty dishes immediately and stopped by several times to check on us. When an item we ordered was not to our liking, they generously removed it from our bill and even gave us a sweet treat at the end of the meal complimentary. Would visit this venue again and suggest you give them a try next time youre driving through Stamford. Their thali is a pre fixe delight with more variety than you can eat.

Very tasty food, with an interesting geographical range. Service was a little erratic, but friendly and OK. The one disappointment, though, was that in spite of repeatedly and clearly saying that we wanted the dishes to be very (very) spicy, they were in fact all comparatively mild. We stressed the fact that we understood what spicy Indian food means, and that this was exactly what we wanted. Alas, we got what I think was the American-friendly level of spiciness.

Spicy indian food. This is one of the good indian restaurants with some spicy and tasty food but this place is small, so seating is congested. It is awful when you look at the walls, so it kind of spoils the ambience. The taste is ok. one can clearly sense that the food tastes more like tamilian food, but the good part is it is spicy so many south indians might like the taste. To my surprise, one bad news for meat lovers is, it is a complete vegetarian restaurant.
