We ordered take out Pad Thai with chicken and Thai Beef curry also 2 spring rolls with Thai chili sauce. It was the worst food we had ever had. The Pad Thai was left over from last night or something, it stuck together without any sauce or any fresh veggies like scallions and maybe two pieces of dry chicken were put on top. The Beef Thai curry had mushy eggplant in it and the beef was totally unseasoned almost boiled like. This was totally disgusting no spices, heat or flavor - greasy. We threw it out into garbage. We were going to call to complain but decided to chalk it up to bad experience and post a review. Maybe the sushi is better there but the dinners are totally gross! I used to go there a few years ago and it was good - what happened? We dont feel so good after tasting this food. Dont waste your money!

HORRIBLE! Last night I went to this restaurant and today I am home sick. I told my server 2 times that I had Celiacs Disease--a medical condition that did not allow me to consume gluten--which was found in their soy sauce and panko crumbs. I ordered the spicy yellowtail scallion roll and found panko after I had taken a bite. I am home sick today. I will never return to this restaurant and I urge other celiacs and people with severe food allergies to do the same. They disregarded my food allergy in their rush to get us out the door. No concern for customers. Unfriendly service. Never listened to my request, and intentionally added to gluten to my food. This was not a case of cross contamination--this was intentional, blatant disregard to my allergy. Never again!

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. Had my daughters birthday party there today and our table was the only one inside with 2 ladies seated outside. They over charged us for drinks that we didnt order and added a $10 birthday cake charge to our bill. I brought in little chocolate mousse cups and decorate plates and served them to the girls. The manager said since we brought food in, there is a service charge. Looks like business is not doing well but dont want to be the one being gouged. I used to suggest Sake to friends but after today I think I will for sure pass the words around.

Get the Red Curry Chicken Extra Spicy w/ white rice and the (sushi) roll B. You will not be disappointed. I get this combination every every time i go and recommend it to everyone. Phun (sp?) is the manager and very nice and friendly. $$ They are a bit more pricy than other similar restaurants but the quality is also superior. Best sushi in town, nice bar too, clean, good atmosphere, nice decor. Favorite restaurant in town. - 1/2 star. They have been getting more expensive/ no more free appetizer with large purchase, disappointed, bad move.

If you are waited on by Fun, she will stun you with her memory - she took orders for 11 people without taking a note, and everything was perfect. The food is good, and the portions are generous for sushi. Seaweed salad was a heaping mound, pad thai was big enough for two. The quality is fine, certainly the best in the vicinity.

Sake is a bit hit or miss for me. If you are looking for traditional chinese food, skip this place. If you want sushi, it is the best place in Southbury, but it still lags a bit behind other Sushi restaurants in the area. I enjoy their Pad Thai, but note that all versions of it contain Tofu, not just the vegetarian version.

I went to SAKE for the firsttime with my colleagues and I loved this place and after it I go pretty often here.taste is very good, they are friendly..service is fast and taste is consistent.I recommended this placeto my firends and all of them liked it.

the restaurant is in a nice, small shopping plaza, and the atmosphere is surprisingly upscale. have not had the sushi, but the asian fusion food is consistently good. the waitstaff is efficient and friendly enough. also it is pretty decent for takeout.

Food is bangin here. We go here for Scorpian bowls very often, but the food is great. Sushi is excellent and I love the honey walnut shrimp. Little expensive but welcome to southbury/CT in general. Great staff too.
