Well first they did not deliver. But once we got home and ready to chow down we realized they never put packets of soy sauce, hot sauce or duck sauce! My husband and I got the Chicken Wing Combo and when we ate the pork fried rice it lacked flavor and tasted as if it had come out of a box! The portion of rice was small in comparison to other places which in this case in the end was a blessing. My kids shared the Sweet and Sour Chicken Combo, thankfully that chicken was good. But, the sweet and sour sauce was watered down as if they were trying to pinch some pennies. My Crab Rangoon had celery in it! I have eaten a lot of Crab Rangoon and NEVER has celery been in it; who does that? Never again will we go to this place! So not worth it!

I ordered Moo Goo Gai pan, (boiled chicken & Veg) with white rice with a Egg roll. waited 15 minutes, my number was called, asked for my order & was told "not ready yet." but saw it sitting on back counter. Only gave it to me after I asked for it several times. Had to return food, given brown rice. changed - to white(?). Opened it & looked. Had to return. given pork fried. Return again. changed - to white. missing egg roll, but was charged for 2 sodas. Went to complain, was asked to return the 2 sodas (that I was never given) & only then I will get a egg roll. Complain & talk loud enough, they shoved a roll at me and stated "good bye". Good bye indeeed, Im never returning.

I first went to Sun Sun in 1991. Best Chinese food ever. Always freshly prepared everything. Theyve always used interesting veggies like asparagus is their stir fries. Absolutely love their Garlic Shrimp. Both the wonton soup and the egg drop soup are good. When I lived in the area (West Hartford), I went weekly. Every time I get to CT I go there. Now that Im living in central MA, I go periodically just for the food. Worth the 90 minute drive each way. Only bad thing about the restaurant is the atmosphere. Its cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Not very fancy. But the quality and quantity and pricing of the food makes up for everything else.

Used to be 5 star but weve definitely seen a decline in quality and consistency over the past several months. This WAS our FAVORITE Chinese place in town for the last few years but the dishes we normally order (Lo Mein, Fried Rice, Beef/Broccoli, Garlic Chicken, etc) have just not been what they were... Im giving it 3 stars and am hoping that we just had a few bad experiences in recent months and that things will turn around... until recently, GREAT place for quick, good value Chinese food! Hoping it picks up again soon...

Having traveled numerous times to China, and eating "real" Chinese food, we have found Sun Sun to be the most authentic tasting Chinese food weve had in the States. But more than that, we enjoy the atmosphere, and the owners are great people. We live 25 miles away, but will go out of our way to eat there. We have dinner there every Christmas Eve, a family tradition to eat Chinese, and since we discovered Sun Sun about 7-8 years ago, it has been the restaurant of choice for Christmas Eve.

Very disappointing. I specifically asked for white meat chicken, was charged for it as General Taos and it wasnt breaded or fried, just thrown in sauce. They also failed to put our egg roll and pork fried rice in the bag. I called and the only option given was to bring the order back to redo. It was already late, we do not live close. They said they do not deliver and as for a credit, she offered $5 on an order we spent over $30 on. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Its a very simple place.. more designed for take away than eat in there. You place the order directly at the counter, and pick it up and take it to your table. The ambience is simplistic, and things simple, but the order was done very fast, portions were plenty, and the price is good. Overall, nice value-for-money place and you can go if you are not looking for a great ambience or look and feel experience.. and theres no alcohol/bar.

Sun Sun is mostly a take-out Chinese restaurant, although they do have a "not fancy" dining room adjoining. If you choose to eat there, you simply order your food at the counter then carry your own plate into the dining room. I havent eaten at Sun Sun in awhile, but the times that I did, the food was very good. I especially like their beef & broccoli and also the Kung Pao chicken. The prices are great too!

Let me start off by saying, I am legally blind and i felt like they took advantage of that. I gave them money for my food and didnt get my change back. She insisted that she did, but I know she didnt. The lady was rude about it. Food was good, but not worth going when the people are rude and try to be dishonest. Theres better places out there tbh

My absolute favorite place to go for fresh, clean chinese. Also, they are so polite and ice only experienced positivity. One thing that really affirmed my love for Sun Sun was that one of the ladies grabbed two egg rolls and noticed something she saw was off on one and just immediately threw it out and got a new one. Forever my place

Dont let the meh decor and standard menu fool you -- this is (easily) the best Chinese takeout in the area. One can see the attention and pride they put into preparation. Also a good value -- portions are sizeable. Highlights: Kung Pao Chicken, Beef w/Broccoli, Boneless Spare Ribs, Teriyaki Sticks, Dumplings, and the Pad Thai.

We have been coming here for years and we love the general Taos chicken and beef with pea pods and zuccini as well as lo mein and the boneless spareribs and they have awesome brown sauce and hot pepper oil if you like your food spicy like us. By far our favorite local chinese food restaurant. Sun Sun puts all others to shame!!

The chicken and spinach was very fresh. The Generals Chicken was breaded heavily. The egg drop soup was good with salt and pepper added. The hot and sour soup was too gelatinous with not enough hot or sour. Overall the dishes lacked seasoning.

We love Sun Sun. It is one of the better places around. Their portion size is good and my personal favorite is the Pad Thai-although not the same as "authentic" Thai it is very tasty. They also have really good boneless spareribs
