This Place Is Excellent. I went there with my son who has wheat and dairy allergies. It was a wonderful experience for him. They made sure there was no dairy or wheat in anything he ate. The huge kids meal he had consisted of a steak, carrot sticks, french fries, and mixed fruit. The french fries were made in a separate fryer as to not contaminate them. We had calamari breaded with corn flour with out the butter milk for obvious reasons, and they were great. I would give the place 10 stars if I could. As far as the person who said the place is over priced, they are incorrect. The kids meal was under priced. The Sesame Crusted Tuna was done to perfection and went great with the 2006 Deloach Pinot Noir. The Calamari was excellent and the service was superb. You get what you pay for. One can always go to McDonalds and get no service, and garbage to eat. But its cheap.

We have not been here in years so we decided to enjoy the outdoor seating last night. We ordered the calamari which did come out quickly - however as others mentioned, it is more peppers than it is calamari which for a $14 calamari ap really should not be the case. My daughter got the soup as an ap and really enjoyed it. For dinner, we got cheeseburgers and fish tacos. My boyfriend ordered the guac that was supposed to come on the tacos to be on the side - and it came out on the tacos so he was annoyed by that, plus it was a very small portion (two small tacos) for $14 so we didnt feel the value was that great. Our Cheeseburgers were pretty tasteless and dry as well. Overall, I like the atmosphere but we likely would not return here. Not a great value for our money.

During a business trip we ventured to Burtons on the recommendation of a couple locals. The ability to make reservations online is a major positive for me. The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, and entertained a customization to a meal. It happened to be my birthday and our waitress was super sweet by bringing out my creme brûlée with a candle in it and happy birthday written on the plate in raspberry sauce. They have a unique and fun drink menu, also! Our meals were swordfish (catch of the day) with the rice and vegetables, swordfish with the Mediterranean risotto, and surf and turf (steak and crab cake). All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our food. If I end up in the area again on business, Ill definitely return to Burtons.

One of the better dining experiences Ive had in a while. Yes, food is VERY pricey, but in all fairness the concept atmosphere of evergreen walk is "upper end." The SERVICE was excellent; our server was attentive and friendly. The food was fresh and flavorful. The presentation was clean and simple. It was close to the best swordfish Ive ever had. Tender, juicy and fresh. Sides were the same, not heavy with oil or butter, not overcooked, good seasoning. If I have to give any critique, Id say the plating presentation could use a little sprucing (for the price). But Id happily trade that for a good meal any day. Portions are upper end appropriate, if you want to stuff yourself, go to MacDonalds.

Wild Mushroom Ravioli!! Have tried a few other things on the menu but this stuck out (though I admit its been over a year since I had that specific dish). Recently had the salmon picatta which was great! Burgers (beef) are good but there are better "restaurant/gourmet" type burgers in the area... Tuna burger was so so, definitively stick more towards the entrees/steaks/seafood here. The atmosphere is great for dinner! dim lighting with a nice glow, very comfortable and spacious seating. Staff seems a bit slow and kind of just there to do their job... which they did ok but didnt seem as personable as they could be for a place like this.

My friends and I had dinner here tonight. The good was good and our server was wonderful, however it was uncomfortably warm. When I ask an employee about it he said he would ask the manager. A few minutes later he came back and said there was nothing they could do about the temperature. The manager never approached and apologized in person. I was very disappointed that there was no attempt to offer any resolution. All the other establishments at Evergreen Walk were able to handle the heat wave Burtons should update their hvac. Although we made the best of our experience, I dont think I will be going back.

Evergreen Way and Evergreen Lane are two very different places in South Windsor. Someone should tweak the map. Google maps mobile made the same error. I had the Risotto Fritters and the Beet Salad. The fritters were light and delicious.. creamy risotto and savory sausage bits wrapped in a panko crust, and served with a chunky tomato sauce. Beets, goat cheese, onions and candied walnuts, topped with micro-greens. Sounds schizo but it was delicious.. inspired.

I have been going to Burtons for years and have yet to have a bad experience there. The food is always superb and a great value for the price you pay. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and make wonderful cocktails. Burtons has great happy hour specials and makes it a great place to meet up with friends after work. Burtons can get pretty busy on the weekends, and I would highly recommend making a reservation in advance.

Quality New York Strip. Cool ambiance. Good selection of beers, however they arent on tap. Great selection of reds to pair with the steak. The char-broiled strip was cooked perfectly. The broccoli and potato sides worked well. The house salad and bread was excellent. The service was good but a bit preoccupied with local chatter at the bar. The kitchen timed it all well. Looking forward to trying the Filet Mignon.

Absolutely amazing restaurant in South Windsor! My wife and I went here for our anniversary and they made it special! The food was great and the service was perfect! They have so many promotions going on throughout the week (like half priced wine on Wednesdays) that my wife and I will definitely be going back soon!

Love this place and its ever changing menu. Portions are a bit hit or miss, not sure what they use to determine portion size. Beet salad is to die for - PLEASE do not remove it from your menu. Great place to take visitors. Love the wait staff, well trained to cover any specialty food needs.

This is my favorite restaurant around. Having worked in the business for years I expect a lot and Burtons always delivers. Outstanding food, not cheap but well worth the little extra you pay. Swordfish with the risotto is great as well as the seafood trio.

Great food and service. I have been there many times with friends and family. I enjoy the seasonal patio. They even have gluten free food available, including GF dinner rolls.

Wait staff was exceptional as always. My wife says the gluten free options are among the best she can get anywhere. This is our go-to place and highly recommend it!
