I will preface this with, I think Im being fair and honest here: Atmosphere: The place is quite nice-looking, I love the atmosphere. I even complimented their bamboo rock wall. I would be very enthused to stay in there for a couple hours (ironically). Staff: A lot of young people work here, but are fairly attentive and professional. Most of them also seem to be of Asian descent. While I wouldnt normally think anything of this (many asian restaurants I go to are family owned) I got the distinct impression that many of these people might simply have been hired for looking the part. I wouldnt say thats a good or bad thing, just a really... odd thing. Wait Time: Oh boy... If my girlfriend was writing this, she would probably be crucifying the manager and writing the review in his blood. That being said, the amount of time we had to wait was excessive to say the least. We arrived at ~7pm and had 2 rounds of drinks. The drinks were actually great. I was very happily surprised at the amount of wine we recieved and the price we paid. Through-out our good and fun time at the bar we asked them how long until our hibachi table would be ready. I dont think we ever got a clear answer. Eventually we were seated. After being seated for what seemed like a long time our chef eventually came. At this time it was ~9pm.... TWO HOURS!!! This is quite ridiculous. There is absolutely no excuse for it taking 2 hours, where at least 1 hour of which was spent waiting at the table, before a chef even arrived. There was also debate as to weather 20 minutes beforehand another table who may or may not have gotten their after our table was served before us. Hibachi: The experience was pretty good. Ive had better, but the guy we had was only above average. We still had fun, and were seated by a fun family, together we made the experience really great. Summary: The overall experience was good to great, I would go there again happily. That being said, having to wait two hours is unacceptable. This makes me question how well they are managed.

I have to say that I wont be back. This place is right down the street from us and we went here several times. They have decent sushi, but what killed it for us was one week night when we were feeling lazy and didnt want to cook, we decided to go here. We were seated in a booth outside of the hibachi area, but within view of the sushi counter. While waiting for our food, I happened to look over to see one of the sushi chefs picking his nose. I kid you not. My stomach lurched. He did not use a hanky or tissue before or after and he made no move to wash his hands after (they were idle because it was a slow night and I am sure that he did not see that I saw him do this) at any time. We left vowing to not return. It was the final straw. Other issues I have witnessed: I ordered desert once and it was given to me frozen. Right after it arrived, someone came up and apologized and gave me a thawed one. One day when the hibachi was busy, I overheard a hibachi chef harassing a woman customer seated at his table to open her mouth so he could squirt some of his cooking sake from the squeeze bottle into her mouth. She really really didnt want to do this, but he kept harping her to open her mouth so he could do it. I think she felt humiliated. I know that this is a common shtick that happens at likely every hibachi, but do we seriously need to teach hibachi chefs that no means no? It was rather disturbing.

First the good. The service and people are great, nice atmosphere, quick service and delicious food! The staff are excellent and really put on a good show for you! However, I won’t be going back to this place. I ordered a Hibachi Dinner Combo and wanted to split a side of brown rice with my party. The dinner combo’s are supposed to come with fried rice. But if you order a side for some reason they don’t give you the fried rice. Not a huge deal as I assumed it was an ‘upgrade’ or substitution. When I didn’t even get the brown at the end of the meal it capped a good night off. I complained and they offered to bring me an order after everybody had finished. Whats the point after everyone is done and ready to leave? Its bad enough I never got served the side but why take a part of the main dish away from me? Why would you order a side if you are going to get less of the main meal? This should either be explained by the staff or better yet, on the menu and call it a substitution, not a side.

I have been here many many times and have had multiple bad experiences but decided to give it another chance because friends wanted to come here on new years. My friend put in a reservation at 4 pm. We wanted to make it for 6 but they said they didnt have anything until 8 for hibachi. When we got there our name wasnt on the list and there was a huge crowd at the door. It took forever to get service and we were rushed once we finished. There was way to much mayo in the spicy tuna and the fish was either of low quality or old. The chicken in the hibachi meal my girlfriend had was chewey/rubbery. Last chance. Never going back.

Called to place a carry out order and was placed on hold. Not a problem there. The problem arose when I walked in the door while I was still on hold 10 minutes later. They never came back to the phone once I was placed on hold, and when I told them I was the active call on the phone off to the side, there was no urgency or apology given. That is Customer Service 101 and they failed.

In the beginning we were the biggest fans of this place recommending it to all of our friends but today I had some miso soup if there was gum in my soup spearmint gum I was appalled I barely was given an apology and then I said I didnt want my mail and I was leaving and no one tried to compensate me or offer me anything they just had them looks on their faces

I come here often the food is very good but I will say I would rather go eat for lunch because at dinner you get the same amount of food. Dinner is over priced I would say. But I will also say I have been eating here for about 6 months now and I will not eat reg. Chinese food. I recommend if you have never been Go!!

The food is good. We had to wait almost 1.5 hours from the time we came till the time we ate. Mind you we did have a reservation. Waitresses were overwhwlmed. Id rather go to SURAY turkish restaurant. Great service and food combined in a traditional nice atmosphere.

As if the quality wasnt already over priced. My party of 4 got charged gratuity fee despite the fact the menu says party of 6 and up will be charged gratuity fee. When we tried to say something about it, the staff became rude and refuse to remove it.

Hidden gem, this place is great. Service was awesome and food was better. I had sushi and my wife had chicken and both dishes tasted amazing. The ambience was really nice as well. We will be going back for the hibachi.
