Before I start writing about this place let me tell you, THIS IS THE BEST INDIAN FOOD PLACE IN THIS AREA. Sorry for the caps but it is a fact. Ive been to various Indian Restaurants in area (even though the choices are not much) and never felt the taste of my homeland. The dish was Indian but the taste was not. This is the most authentic tasting Indian food that they serve with equally delightful service. they are very receptive too, so if you have any issue/question just ask them and theyll address it right away. Try Paneer Tikka in starter among other. For me it was exactly like the moment the critic tastes the Ratatouille in the climax of the Animation movie of the same name. I couldnt recommend more if you really want to taste the perfect Indian food. Go for it.

I will admit Im biased when reviewing this place. I have been coming here since they opened and have been hooked on the food since then. All the dishes are freshly prepared and super tasty with great care placed into how well the spices compliment the dish, never have I once felt that spices over power the dish. I would reccomend any of their lamb and goat dishes as saffron has mastered how to combine fall-off-the-bone tender meat with a great spice blend that compliments the meats natural gaminess. Staff is super friendly and attentive and their food is just as good sitting down or as take out/ delivery.

We ate here Fri 30 June when visiting from Texas. The owner was there and she was keenly involved in the process. The food was excellent and the service fast. We had 2 dishes of very different heat. The heat level was on the conservative side, but that is not a problem as it can be rectified if needed. Flavour was excellent. The garlic Nann bread was very good. We ordered a full Samosa Chat - it was delicious but huge If we were nearer we would go back.

My husband and I just got take out for the first time from this restaurant, and it was so delicious! We chose the Gobi Aloo Masala and Methi Mattar Malai to share, and couldnt stop commenting to each other how much we were enjoying it. It was very fresh-tasting, and the woman who attended to us was so sweet. We will definitely be back!

Wow! Just WOW! I just left and am writing this from the parking lot. The variety and options on the menu are phenomenal; the flavor, DELICIOUS. Their spice levels are perfectly matched for every pallet and the service is fantastic. So glad I decided to stop in and will be coming back for their lunch buffet!!

Best Indian food Ive tasted in the tri state area. Always had dinner, a la carte. Their butter chicken, and bhuna lamb are succulent and rich. Pairing these with a garlic naan (garlic flatbread) completes the meal. But the piece de resistance is their warm Gulab jamun, the dessert. As good as it gets!

The restaurant is fairly new , but good quality . the owner is always there to personally talk to the patrons . the number of dishes is very limited and need to be expanded. I love their tandoori items. especially the tandoor roti . it is the best tandoor roti i have ever eaten .

Excellent service, very flavorful food, good options on spiciness, and the driver found a difficult location. Spicy relative to some of the other Indian places in this area; medium here could be hot at some of the others, so make sure you know how hot you want it!

The food here is tasteless. The original indian recipe was missing. She used her own recipe. To get a five star you need really change the chef. The 2 stars are for the garlic naan which is xcellent and the service is also very good.

Excellent food and great service! Driver got a little lost but was very sweet and they gave us free dessert, so I really cant complain. Lots of vegetarian options and they will make everything as spicy or mild as you want.

Probably the best Indian food close to Stamford CT. Must try Chicken and Lamb tikkas... The buffet spread for lunch is too good and so is the a-la-cartè dinner.

Menu choices beyond usual typical dishes available. The black pepper chicken offers a lighter, subtle curry alternative to regular Indian curries.
