I love Moonrise Cafe, I go there anytume I want a chill place to have a cup of coffee and work/hang out. The staff is typically pulled from the local high school, but theyre generally really helpful and actually pretty funny. The other patrons include their hilarious friends, several social and support groups for women, and various locals from town. One time we had an impromptu intervention and helped some high school kid get over his emotionally manipulative on and off again girlfriend. Two days ago, I (Sanders supporter) had a polite, intelligent conversation with an undecided voter and a Trump supporter about the mess that is our superdelegate and primary system. Its always good for a random, fun day. The food is good, especially the paninis, althoigh they take a little while to make. As far as drinks go, the coffee is great. If yyou want a real caffeine fix, try the ultimate iced coffee. The london fog is a nice latte, its made with honey. Moon chai is also very good, they habe several great drinks. The boston creme latte almost gabe me diabetes, I think that was the point, thougj. If you want refreshing, they have bubble tea and smoothies and, of course, froyo, which is all good. They have a massive layout of toppings, so... If you have kids, take them here. If you have a date and you wanna appear a low-key, knowledgable about the area, and fun, take her or him here. If you are cool, come here. If you are actively trying to become cool, come here. If you need relationship advice, come here.

Literally standing here right now being actively ignored by the staff including what appears to be some kind of manager edit: finally got the attention of one of the employees after being skipped in line twice only to have them fill only 1/3 of the cup of the sub par dark roast and mess up my food order. Wasnt even close. Im not coming back here ever again. Enjoy your hipsters.

It baffles me that the many people I see up the road at Starbucks dont come here! The coffee here is excellent, the space is much nicer, theres a real menu from which to order, and theres frozen yogurt to chase the coffee. This is the kind of place with a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and read, write, talk, etc. I highly recommend it.

For a cafe that seems so concerned about serving organic food and beverage items that are good for you and the planet, it seems odd to me that they are still serving out polystyrene(Sytrofoam) Despite this, the Special Egg, Cheese and Avocado on a Croissant was mighty delish and the standard Organic Coffee is reasonably priced and delish as well.

Love moon rise...how could you not love a place called moon rise? Food is good, coffee and tea is good . Frozen yogurt bar is very good.(large selection of toppings). Very welcoming atmosphere.

This cafe is so adorable, and they have the best paninis! Tons of vegetarian options, if youre a veggie-person like me! Definitely try the Ultimate Iced Coffee- you wont regret it!
