The past 3 times I have ordered from Legends Pizza on 1500 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden, CT, there has always been a problem with my order. I have ordered from here for as long as I can remember until recently. It should not take an order 3 hours to be made and delivered to my house which is in Hamden off of Dixwell Avenue. The employees are not professional and do not care if a customer is upset with their service. Tonight all I ordered was a small bacon pizza and a small tossed salad to be delivered in Hamden, CT. I ordered this at 5:52pm and did not receive my food until after 7pm. I called exactly hour after I ordered my food and told the lady on the phone that if my order was not going to be here within 10 minutes,i wished to cancel the order. She said the order would be delivered very soon. The order was delivered within 10 minutes. The only problem I have concerning my food was that the pizza was cold. I had to reheat it. The garlic bread was hard and cold as well. When I took a bite into my salad thinking how hard a salad be to mess up, I found a long piece of hair in my salad and the ranch dressing was not edible. I called back to inform the employees the food was not good at all and the lady responded with "Sooooo what do you want me to do about it?". I work in a business and as far as I am concerned, we do NOT treat customers in that tone of voice or with that much of disrespect. I will no longer be a customer to The Legends Pizza located on 1500 Dixwell Avenue in Hamden CT. Does NOT even deserve one star

This place is a straight rip-off. We ordered wings from here because their pizza is nasty. The sauce was all over the place and the "mild" wings were inefible. The curly fries were cold. When I called back they said they would remake the order and have it out in 30 minutes. The driver who also proclaimed he was the manager called and we missed it and call right back, he said he was back at the store. Now given his address it takes 10 minutes to get to my home. Theres no way he came out here. I am then told I could cime pick it up. I asked to credit me, they refused and refused to redeliver an order they screwed up. He then says "Im not going to argue with you about chicken". I told him we were arguing about my money that I spent on food I couldnt eat. I am going to dispute this with my bank because they should not get to keep my money when the didnt deliver the product I ordered as I ordered it. I will never order from them again. They are rude and they are thieves. Dont let them rob you as well. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHMENT!

Just got my order from them a few minutes ago. I dont know what it is lately or whos doing the hiring, but the delivery guys have been complete a--holes the last few times Ive ordered. One of the elevators in my building is currently out of order, so when he called to let me know he was downstairs, I came down as quickly as I could...being on the top floor and trying to catch the one working elevator in the middle of the day when a bunch of other tenants are trying to do the same doesnt exactly equate to a speedy trip to the first floor. (I mean our buzzer works just fine so he could have easily gotten off his butt and brought the pizza upstairs) he kept calling my phone on my way down and literally yelled at me when he shoved my pizza into my hands. Please hire new delivery drivers that arent rude and disrespectful. I live in an apartment, not a house where I can just open the door in order to get my food. Ive been a customer of Legends for years but after today Im not ordering from them anymore.

I purchased chicken from here yesterday. It was too hard to consume. I called Grub hub this morning and they told me to call Legend Pizza. When I called they refuse to help me because I bought the food last night. I told the manager that I took pictures and have not eaten the food. I ordered a lot of food. I only are half yesterday. It shouldnt matter because you didnt deliver good quality. Its not even been two days. So leftovers should still be fresh. The fact that these people didnt own their mistake just ensures I will not be buying from them again.

This was one of the best pizzas I have eaten in my life, except Rosas in Bozeman, MT. It arrived in a short amount of time and was hot when it got here. Seriously phenomenal. I only wish I had given the delivery driver a bigger tip but I will next time because I am ordering from here again within the week.

After ordering from this place my first thought was that this is so bad I need to just go give it back. I didnt even want a refund I just wanted this gross food away from me. Didnt even want it in my trash.

Left me feeling hungry and disappointed! There was hardly any cheese on the pizza. The pizza wasnt advertised as "thin crust" but the crust surely was paper thin. What a rip off!!!
