Should be 0 stars because they said they never made the cake I ordered and didnt even bother to call me to let me know. It was supposed to be my first Mothers Day cake. Then I complained to David about it and he took all day to figure out which excuse to tell me for this mistake. He finally called and said they made the cake and some "Indian" lady picked it up. Im not Indian nor did I or anyone in my family picked up the cake because we were told it was NOT made! So how the heck did some ghostly person pick up a ghostly cake. I truly loved the things they make but the customer service is terrible and I feel discriminated. I wish there was a way to find out what really happened and why David lied and didnt bother making up for their mistake.

I can only hope that business owners sometimes read reviews. When customers contine to support your small business and you do nothing to make them want to continue to do so then you may need to reevaluate or business practices. We came in every Saturday and/or Sunday morning and until recently we will not return. Clean up the place, keep your bakery items fresh and restocked, dont run out of items by 8:30 a.m., hire staff that are generally welcoming and happy (or instruct them to make believe they are).

Placed an order for stuffed bread a day before I was to pick up. They did not see order slip the next morning so did not make the breAd. Ok mistakes happen but it was their rudeness acting as if it was my fault! I was so embarrassed in front of other customers, telling me I should have placed order early in the day. Only food worth eating here is their stuffed bread and bagels. Cake and cupcakes are terrible!!!!

This place is going downhill on a slippery slope, and Ive been going here for years. Its like their standards dont exist anymore. Im referring to preparation standards for their food thats just careless and seemingly lazy. I realize good help is hard to find, but the customers shouldnt fall victim to that. I used to really like this place I dont want to see it go away but they need to get it together.

Worst Cupcakes ever! Cupcakes are $4 and huge. I didnt mind the price so much since they were so big. One cupcake had canned frosting which instantly turned me off and made me throw away. All of the cupcakes were dry and not good. Even my son (who will eat almost anything) said the cupcakes were not good. If youre looking for a good homemade cupcake, dont buy here.

Cute place, they write jokes on a blackboard in the back its totally adorable. There are pastries, basic breakfast/lunch items and coffee. Staff is typically just meh and seating isnt the very best, great spot to grab a coffee and a snack and run.

Patty Cakes Bakery of CT is my favorite bagel spot in Glastonbury. The bagels are always fresh. I can top it with butter, cream cheese, or even Nutella.
