This is the best Ice Cream in Hartford county, with the most personable, capable staff - they can concoct an old-fashioned black & white malt or egg cream, or one of their nice mini ice cream sandwiches ( "sliders") that are potentially addicting. Our family hasnt had a dessert at a local restaurant in years; we go directly to J.Fosters after dinner!

The seasonal key lime pie ice cream is worth a visit to try. The traditional flavors are great too and there is a wide selection, including sorbets. It is situated very close to the Farmington river trail(bike path) and the Simsbury concert venue. There is plenty of seating indoors and out.

Delicious ice cream made on the premises! Really interesting factors and combinations. Plenty of seating in the side room and a convenient footpath to Fresh Market and the shopping plaza next door.

Great ice cream and gellato. My kids dont want ice cream from anywhere else. Pear Brandy gellato, coffee, banana ice cream are my favorites.
