For the dinner hour, I can say this place had the most cars in the lot compared to other eating establishments nearby. So between that and the reviews on here being so favorable, I knew we had to try it on a recent trip to the area. I agree with the service..there were three people including our server that came by regularly to ensure we had plenty of chips and salsa or to clear finished plates. And speaking of the salsa....it was THEE best part of the meal. It had a great fresh flavor made with the simplest of ingredients. The chips were appropriately warm, thin and crisp. They allowed my daughter to create her own kids meal by requesting a soft taco shell, shredded cheese, lettuce and ranch dressing, which we very much appreciated since she can be picky when dining out. My son was happy to have the kids cheeseburger and fries which he gobbled up, and again we were thankful for a few non-Mexican dishes for a child that is somewhat picky when it comes to a Mexican restaurant. I had a combo plate of a chile relleno and chicken enchilada. And this is where it was good, but not great. The relleno was overpowered by the taste of the oil they are deep frying it in. And the chicken, although a nice tender texture, had very little infused taste. The usual scene on plates of rice and refried beans was equally bland. I believe this place is perfect for people that fear spicy Mexican food. They play it safe here, and have rather mild flavors that I found personally to be a bit boring. It was a welcoming, and clean place to dine as a family, and Im glad we visited, but this food stop wont be the most memorable for us.

I just left this resteraunt. We were seated in the very far corner. We sat down, received our menus. A young boy with braces gave us our chips. And that was it. Multiple times another tall blonde short haired boy walked right past us, looked at us out of the corner of his eye (multiple times)and kept on walking. Finally he did this again and i stood up in the booth and asked him if someone could help us. He almost kept walking and then turned around and asked us if we had a server.... If we had a server.... Thats insane to me. IT IS NOT YOUR CUSTOMERS JOB TO MAKE SURE WE HAVE A SERVER. no one ever came to get our drinks or anything. And then your front desk girl told us that it was her fault because she didnt write us down. This place is a joke and Im going to tell every single person I see, talk to, and network with to NEVER go to your establishment. Nothing but children who dont know how to do their job.

Let me start by saying the service was great. BUT the food was terrible and left us feeling sick for a day. We had the seafood Chimichanga and Azteca "burger" as well as mushroom and swiss "burger". The Mushroom swiss "burger" was mostly mayonnaise and a gross amount of it. The "burger" patties looked like something from the dollar store that was on sale because theu were almost expired. They only give you a toddlers handful of stale fries to accompany your less than 1/8" thick "burger" and the seafood Chimi had one shrimp when i say shrimp i mean like the tiny dried ones that come in a cup of ramen soup and was fried beyond belief. The salsa however was delicious. I would really suggest going to Serranos next door it is tasty and Authentic.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. All and I mean ALL of the wait staff were on their cellphones. My husband had to go get a high chair for our son because our waitress didnt offer us one, she didnt bring us our $6 queso dip, I had to reminder her we ordered it and to top it off I had to go find her to get out check. And guess what she was doing.... On her phone again. Horrible horrible horrible service. Ive been in the restaurant business for 15+ years and it takes a lot to upset me so bad that I dont tip and our waitress whom we found out was the owners daughter, didnt get a tip. She got a different kind of tip.... A written one suggesting she stays off her phone and takes better care of her customers.

7/11/17 Ive eaten here 3 times whenever I visit Woodland Park and its good everytime! This recent time I went I had my boyfriend, younger cousin, and nephew with me. Everybody seemed to enjoy what they got. I got something different this time which was the tamale dinner and it was real good I would get it again! They have good beans and salsa as well! Better then Pueblo Viejos (in Colorado Springs) dip for sure! The only thing I dont like there is how they prepare the chicken/beef burritos. Kind of a dry stringy combo that I dont like. There is plenty more to try though so we will defiantly go again! Was around $50 for 4 people including tip.

Stopped in cause wife loves mexican food. We split rellano plate and appetizer plate. All the appetizers were cheap frozen apps you would get from a grocery store freezer section. The quesadilla was a nuked tortilla with shredded cheese not fully melted. So what do you serve cheese sticks, cheddar poppers, cheese quesadilla, and taquitos thats right a cheaper queso dip. The rellano was ok but she only ate about half of hers. Service was slow food left much to be desired ... I wouldnt go back.

Ive been going to this place since we moved here about 3 yrs ago. Service has always been excellent. Ive always been greeted with a smile. Admittedly, they do have some entres that are better than others. Some of the basics are a bit bland and typical. But they have some excellent not so typical dishes. My fav is the pollo baracho. Love it. And the cactus berry margarita is super delicious. Ive never had anything bad and if I did Im confident the folks there would want to remedy it.

Ugh. What are all these 3-star and up people smoking? The food was bland, mushy, and flavorless, like it had been sitting in water under the heat lamp at Casa Bonita for 6 hours. Eleven dollars a plate is about twice what I would pay, if I ever were to eat this standard of food again (but I wouldnt). The service was fantastic and the staff very friendly, but I wont be going back.

Very bad service, the worst Ive seen in a long time. Wait a 1/2 hour before leaving after every server in the building looked at us. Ask a guy to help us and he said yea Ill get someone and he never returned until he came to the table next and asked if everything was good. Long story short everyone working could care less if you get food or not! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE!!

As someone who has grown up dining on authentic Mexican food, I can tell you that this is the worst "Mexican" food that I have ever had. Taco Bell is a step up from this place. The servers are nice, but that doesnt compensate for terrible food. The food lacks imagination and taste. The other two Mexican restaurants in town are better by leaps and bounds.
