Went to Denver Pride 2017 with my boyfriend we left pride and went to the Rock Bottom Brewery restaurant in Westminster so we were wearing a pride rainbow bracelet Pride rainbow socks a pride rainbow hat and it was a Sunday at about 12:20 p.m. I guess there was a large after church crowd in the restaurant. When we went in the host and the hostess discussed whispering to each other about our appearances and decided to sit us in a back room away from everybody else they did this very obviously based on our appearance. There were no other patrons in this back room. Niether of us had been drinking we were both wearing full clothes we had shirts and shorts on. We complained and said this isnt fair I think youre sitting us in this other section based on our appearance that we appear gay. The gentleman got his general manager whose name is Kelley J Cochran, she came over and did not apologize or use any kind of good customer service. She immediately said that we didnt discriminate against you we put you in that separate room because we were cycling through waitresses and we had just opened up up that extra room we said well it didnt appear that way and then without hesitation she said you guys have to leave right now. We asked for her bosses name and the corporate offices name and her name and as we were doing that she said that she would need to call the police and have us escorted out we grew frustrated and I did use foul language to her because she was very Prejudiced and belligerent to me and my boyfriend. She then proceeded to get on the phone and call the police at this point being its a private establishment without and theyre asking us to leave and calling the police of course we are going to leave so we left. I dont know how the food taste because they wouldnt serve me because they were discriminating against me. So to sum up my review the restaurant discriminated against my boyfriend and I by trying to sit us in a room away from everybody else when we asked to be seated seated which there are plenty of seats in the main area they put us in there but then once we said something about the Discrimination they immediately kicked us out of the restaurant and threatened to call the police if we didnt leave. The restaurant shows discriminatory policies as well as extremely poor customer service by management.

My friends and I tend to go to 16th ST RB, but decided for this one to celebrate my dads birthday. BIG MISTAKE. Our server was beyond rude from beginning to end. Server asked if we were all old enough to drink, offered the beer of the day, brought over some samples and a round of waters. Mom wanted coffee and younger brother a Pepsi, we asked if he could please bring those, he rudely walked away to a different table and told us to give him a minute (P.S, it was not a busy day). OK sure, well wait. He then returned and asked if we were ready to order, which we were, except there was still no beverages (no big deal), he took our order and my dad was very specific on no sour cream on his dish. Dads dish arrived with sour cream drizzled (not servers fault) then my dad kindly asked if he could get one without sour cream as he wanted, server gasped and said "Its not even that bad, but OK I guess" he cough his breath as he walked away. Thats what drew the line for us! My assumption is, he was probably having a bad day. We should have left right after that, but we were not about to ruin my old mans birthday because of that a-hole server of yours!!! Regardless, we left a $7 tip (would have left way more if service wasnt so mediocre). I left a note on the receipt and that said, "The $7 are NOT for you, but for the kitchen and bar, because food and beers were really good. We were very disappointed with our service today, and well not be coming back" Not sure if hell end up keeping a percentage of the tip or all of it, but hopefully that serves him on learning how to take well care of his tables!

The food was delicious, I will be back for the food. The only complaint I had in that regard was the house made root beer tasted a little flat. The service, however, left a lot to be desired. I do not know my servers name because he never actually introduced himself; in fact, he stared off into space instead of looking at myself or my husband while apologizing for having left us sitting there with no service for upwards of 15 minutes, citing some vague "miscommunication issue." I work in the food service industry, and I understand mistakes happen. Had this been my table, I would have taken the rough start as my cue to go above and beyond to provide excellent service. Instead, we had to practically wave him down to order, our drinks stayed empty, he checked on us once through the course of our meal, and we were practically rushed out the door... in the dead afternoon... on a Thursday. No single aspect of our experience was a huge deal, but the combination of it all left a dissatisfied taste.

I honestly cant believe this place has 4 out of 5 stars with 69 reviews. My Fiance and I had a gift certificate here, so we were inclined to try it. After waiting for nearly 45 minutes for a table (we were told a half hour wait) we were seated. We started with the fried calamari, which quite honestly was probably the best part of the meal. Im by no means picky about my beers, but I tried several tasters and was not impressed by any of them. I decided to order the stuffed poblano peppers, and my lady decided on the fried chicken and gravy with mashed potatoes. Somehow, my peppers were very bland. Im not sure how you can mess up cheese and meat stuffed in spicy peppers-- but alas, very plain tasting. I tried some of the chicken and mashed potatoes, and it was only ok. Ive had better fried chicken and gravy from Cracker Barrel. Im giving an extra star for the great service we received from server while there. We will not be back...

Took a party of 6 to dinner on 5/20/17 at 5:00. Sat at table in the bar area for over 10 minutes. Finally had to get up, walk to the greeter and ask if we could please get some drinks. Server finally arrived. We ordered food and sodas for starters and she left. Food was brought soon, but then the server left and we NEVER saw her again. Turned on table light to call her so we could order drinks. I even held the light up in the air to try to get someones attention. Went to the bar and asked for drinks and was told they couldnt serve me from the bar. 15 mins later...server came over and asked what we needed. I told her we wanted drinks 15 mins ago, but at this point the check would be just fine. Will certainly not go back...

We were in the area and had eaten at a Rock Bottom Grill from are hometown Colorado Springs many times & always enjoyed it so we decided to stop in to this one. Must say we were very disappointed... We were surprised to find it was nothing the same. Instead of an upscale brewery & restaurant, we felt like we were eating at a Dennys. It was dirty, the bathrooms were disgusting, & the food tasted prepackaged & reheated. If you have kids & not looking for quality, I guess it would do, but very unsatisfactory for adult dining. The only reason is not a one star is because our waitress was friendly & accommodating. Pass on this one on date night!
