We have been coming to the Niwot tavern for many years: Serving, breakfast, lunch and dinner, a lot of people would be surprised at the quality of food available- they have been doing the regional ("farm to fork"?) selections for many years, before it got trendy. The Staff are professionals and are personable and efficient. The bar has a lot of bar stools and provides selections including the regional craft beer and liquor. There is a TV for game day, and its a friendly vibe kinda like Cheers, but Colorado friendly. There is also a spacious patio up front for sun worshipers, bicyclists, and dog lovers. I have never had a bad meal or experience here, and they would make it right if there were any hiccups.

I really like this place - atmosphere, food and great selection of good beers. You can sit in the bar area, the restaurant or out on the patio. It never feels crowded or too noisy, the food is really good and it sells local micro beers. Fair prices, good service.

This tavern provided a Christmas dinner for the sick the lonely the less fortunate the one with mobility problems and it was tasty as well . We appreciate you Niwot Tavern God bless you for giving of yourselves on Christmas day !!

Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. I love love love coming here. While the "bar food" is good, they also go beyond that and have amazing salads, hummas, and ahi tuna. The staff is friendly and I love the environment.

My husband I have neen here twice while Im in the neighborhood petsitting, its got a great atmosphere and friendly professional wait staff. The food is delicious and the dirty martinis are too!
