The food is great, except the lava cake. That item was dismal. But whats making me give the 2 star rating is the staff. We went this Sunday and mother is deaf in one ear and when we ordered the waitress had to ask a few times for the extras (how well done the burger should be, what sides). And the waitress with wavy brown hair looked visibly pissed. What an ass! She was bartending, too. For a long while we sat waiting for the bartender to return for the check. Another waitress (blonde, probably the owner) finally came over to clear our plates and check on us. She was nice, wish we had her as our waitress. The other one had an attitude problem; she shouldnt be in the service industry. The place has potential. But I wont be returning to spend money (its not cheap) here, especially to be treated by an ass like that waitress.

First time here and must say it will not be the last. I came in for a late lunch so was not crouded at all. Server/bartender was very nice and accommodating. Food presentation was so so but Im in a pub so I get it. There food itself for the price and it being a pub was outstanding. I saw someones comment on not being able to see the TVs from the booths. This seems remarkable to me. This is a small place and there are 5 TVs placed all over. Because it was not crowded I walked around do all the booze and could easily see all the TVs. So in summary I look forward to coming back this place for dinner and checking it out.

Watch out for this place especially on the weekends. If you pay with a debt or CC check it the next few days cause the charges just keep adding up. I spent $30 Friday the next day I saw that I had 2 charges , one for $30 and another for $60 the day after that I checked it to see maybe if it dropped off and another $20 tip was charged. I have had 2 people tell me the same thing happened to them and the "GM" just said there has been a few glitches with their payment processor ( spanning back over a year ). I wonder how many people dont catch the " glitches " .

This place is just incredible!! Had seen it multiple times while screwing around on google maps and finally slid in for a drink which turned into 5.. Mainly because I didnt want to leave the incredibly friendly atmosphere and also the fact that its a 0.2 mile waltz to my front door.. Food and service were fantastic! Coming fresh out of northen WI, I have to say... This place made me feel like I was back at a "local level".

The food is good. The prices are high and the service is absolutely horrible. We had a large table of people who planned on drinking and eating quite a bit but no one ever really cared to come ask us if we wanted anything. Once we finally ordered it was legitimately a challenge to get refills or even get our checks.

This place is great. My food is always on point, as I am picky. The kitchen staff even comes out to check how everything is. The younger lady with the long brown hair is usually my server and she is always very personable and goes the extra mile for great service. So happy I have found this little spot!

The Whittier Pub has great food and good beers on tap consistently. Brunch is amazing but you cant go wrong with their regular menu. The atmosphere is very true to the Whittier neighborhood and the service is excellent. Family friendly but adult friendly as well.

Small hidden pub, with an amazing food selection. My family came in from Indiana and they loved everything they had ( cheese burger and Huge Cobb salad)! I had the falafel and it was the amazing, seriously the best I have ever had. :) !!

Great food unfortunately the downfall of the place is the staff. Incredibly rude bartender killed our experience. Sad because we were looking foward to trying this place since we live 3 blocks away. Oh well.

Ive only been here for trivia night on Wed. Its a good time. Decent bar food, highlights of smoked wings, spicy cheese steak, green chili tater tots. Nice patio

Neighborhood pub is great. Dont expect fancy, but a great place for pint and meal. Family friendly, clean, lots of TVs, decent selection of drinks and eats.
