What happened to this place?!?! We have come here since the beginning, it was always a great experience, now I would not recommended this place to ANYONE! For $20 a person you would expect a lot, and in the past you would have gotten it. Now this place is a bad joke, you pay $20 a ticket, and instead of the great old menu you are handed a piece of paper with very few LUNCH menu options (sandwich, hamburger, salad, or a +$10 popcorn) and expected to choose one of them for your "nice" dine in dinner... But to make it worse they decided to just go all in in the low end expeirence and have you order like you would at Which Wich, where you get your small paper menu, use a small pencil to mark what you like and then give it to them to order (let me note that this is all before you get to your theater), yes that is right you have to stand and wait OUTSIDE your theater for your food... Really great "high end" experience. It used to be set up like other dine in theaters where you would take your seat and someone would be with you to take your order. Then during the movie if you needed anything else you could call your waitress. Now if you wanted more food or anything you have to leaver your theater and wait outside your theater. When it comes down to it, this place was great, now... It hold NO value. Save your money on a movie go to a different theater, save your money on their hamburger you can get a better one at places like Larkburger, save your money on a sandwich you can get better ones at places like West Side Cafe.... Just DONT waste your money here.... Not anymore.

Not so special anymore. Cinebistro used to be a special experience that my wife and I would commit to every couple of months. Go early, get some of that delicious sushi dish they used to serve with a nice glass of wine and get served right in your seat. Tickets were only a few bucks more than the competitors but well worth it. We just went a couple of weeks ago for our date night and the the first dissapointment was that they had jacked up their ticket prices to $20 a ticket. This was in the heart of the off season when most merchants extend some sort of local appreciation discount pricing to get folks in the door. Then we were told that there was no longer service in the theater but they had burgers available at the bar in the lobby. In my opinion Cinebistro has lost what made it special and is now just a theatre that you can pay a bunch more for comfy chair.

I have certain expectations when visiting Cinebistro based on my experiences at their other locations. The place is cute inside, but aside from that it doesnt compare to what Cinebistro should be! There is no in-seat service. None! You order your food at the front counter and then come back to get it when the electronic buzzer they give you goes off. The buzzer vibrates LOUDLY. The only gluten-free option there is to get the house salad with no croutons. The majority of the menu is meat or deep fried. My seat hadnt been cleaned and still had popcorn on it from the previous movie. The seats do not recline like the Cinebistro seats in other locations. The location still gets 3-stars (average) because its nicer than a standard theater. The staff were polite and helpful.

what the heck? I feel bad this place has horrible reviews it is such a great place, The management is the problem. Love coming here with my better half, seem a few, We watched 50 grays etc, place is great but that manager or the tall dude that looks like he wears the same suit every night is lazy. New cashiers all the time, they change every other week, these women are bullies to other customers, like other women, I seemed it, but I do give it to them bc Im a local and I know Vail wouldnt like that!!!! If you report an employee by name, she or he would be fire on the spot. I ignored all the ones with the worse attitudes and look forward to meet new employees, or new management too.

Cinebistro used to be our go-to Friday night experience. Delicious food, amazing service, a rewards program with real rewards! The owners have clearly sacrificed their image, and all the things that made Cinebistro great, in the name of profits. Taking away in-theater dining, as well as cutting off your menu at the knees, is like going see a baseball game with no baseball. Oh, and dont think we didnt notice that the beautiful natural imagery that preceded every movie has now been replaced with loud and obnoxious advertisements. Its almost like the theater industry WANTS people to stay home with their Netflix. Congratulations on being so out of touch with your customer base.

What happened? This place was wonderful and now the whole concept is gone. I raved about the calamari popcorn, macncheese and other delicious menu options when bringing my out of town guests. imagine my embarrassment and their disappointment when faced with an obscenely over priced and underwhelming burger bar. The polite young local staff even had their hands full fielding all the complaints from the majority of patrons who approached the ticket counter. One of my family members half joked that we should have pre-ordered pizza from across the way and had it delivered to our seat section.

Lackluster experience at cinebistro. This was a highlight of my month with my boyfriend. Fancy dinner, watch a movie. Dont abandon the in theater service. Locals deserve to have a classy experience too. The owners clearly dont care about the locals who keep their doors open during off season. Higher ticket prices, crappier food menu without the in theater service. I wonder how your tips have been? Way to make your locals feel like second class citizens. Shame shame. Not to mention you cant purchase local tickets online or have them reserved and pay when you arrive.. Weak.

We are disappointed with the new burger bar concept. It is very inefficient. You have to wait in line up to 4 times now - tickets, food, alcohol is a separate line/wait and then pick-up. The condiments are on a little rolling cart off to the side and you have to wait if anyone else is making their selection. There are tiny ketchup packets rather than a dispenser, so you have to try to tear them open in the dark during your movie. I liked the old menu which had some interesting gourmet options in addition to traditional burgers. I would love to see that return.

Food was good, but came out slowly and was not delivered to our seat,, meaning we had to miss part of the movie to go pick it up. Despite the long prep time, burgers were served without condiments. With only two condiment stations, there was another delay in returning to our seats. The trays and plates on which the food was served were both slippery, requiring considerable dexterity to avoid loosing food on the way back to the theater. Once in our large, comfortable seats, we were disappointed that screen was so small.

I love it, food is great and reasonably priced, I noticed a few reviews saying it was expensive and I have to ask them a few questions, where in Vail can you get a burger for 12 dollars? This town charges 9 for a draft beer. On top of that if you go to any movie theater in the country and order popcorn{8+} and some candy{6+} you could have just gotten fried chicken and waffles at CinéBistro for 2 dollars more if not for less in some areas.
