I ised to go here a lot but not as of lately. Depends all on whos working the grill. The food CAN be good but most of the cooks are dirty. Super dirty and never wash their hands. Especially the old fat Mexican. Ive sat in front of him watched him cook and he touches raw meat, doesnt wash his hands and his touching bread and veggies with blood still on his hands. He uses dirty, greased up rags to wipe off "clean" plates that are being sent out. It was disgusting. It made me get up and leave..NEVER AGAIN will i eat when that old, obviously an illegal, is working there. The menudo is good most the time. Sometimes its burnt if u go really late at night but i dont usually go late, unless i have a craving. Also I dont know who or what these people are but there is always..and i do mean ALWAYS a group of 3-4 HUGE fat people in the corner table who talk super loud and cuss and act like its their place. Maybe it is, I always saw them when i went and they sure look like they eat there 24/7 but they are soo annoying and have no respect for others there with family and kids. They should NOT BE ALLOWED there if they ARE NOT the owners.. ive pretty much had my time there n i dont think ill go back for these reasons. I dont recommend going weekends cuz of the nasty old cook.

Ive came to this place 3 times and each time the service has horrible! I refuse to give them anymore of my money. Aside from horrible service, the food is not worth the price. my order has either been wrong, tasted awful, or left me with an upset stomach. I would not even let my dog eat their food! Food handler inspectors should hit up this place, you will find plenty of things to fine them with. today when I went, I saw the server eating Cooler Ranch Doritos, lick her finger tips, grab two cups, put ice in them and serve them to the customers. She then comes and finally lets me pay (I ordered to-go) after 20 min of me standing at the register. She grabs my 8$ for these 2 awfully made and tasting burritos that had burntmeat. She then works her way to the kitchen, grabs flautas with her bare hands after touching money and starts helping the cooks. at no point did she ever wash her hand. You will be throwing away your money if you come here. All youll be paying for is disappointment and an unsatisfying eating experience.

Cash only, but they have an atm. Been coming here since I was a kid for consistent real Mexican staples like fried tacos, enchiladas, and menu do thats very clean and fresh. Open very late. One of the last genuine non-chain diners still running the old-fashioned way: and thats always a good thing.

This place is an El Paso tradition. THE best menudo in a region full of amazing menudo. The rest of the menu is delicious, but the mini tacos...do yourself a favor and support this local historic business by stopping in for an order. Well worth it! Cash only, but they have an atm inside.

Really bad service. There were only three tables and did take their time to ask if everything is ok. My husband and me agree never go back to that place they dont even have high chairs for the babies, not family friendly.

Dont expect to come in here and get 5 star service. Come in here and,get 5 star cheap good food. Its me and wifes favorite after a night of drinking or a long week of work. These roll tacos run chicos out of town.

The pancakes were outstanding. Just like when I was a kid. Bacon was old school and the food was hot. Thats why we come here to eat like at home. Food is always prepared how you like it.
