Worst order ever! Maybe it was because it was the one time I didnt buy more then $50 worth? Or order was Pho Dac Biet Combo Beef Rice Noodle Soup, Vermicelli with Grilled Combination, Combination Singapore Noodles. The Pho was just chicken and VERY little vegetables on the side of the broth. The Vermicelli meat was BURNT. Grilled and burnt are different things, the meat was coated in a thick layer of solid black, the shrimp literally crunched in half when I tried to see if I could find some edible piece. With the Combination Singapore Noodles, it honestly could have been my fault, we had never tried it so we thought we would give it a shot but we couldnt figure out what it was in the ways of meat. When I think combination its usually some seafood, beef, and chicken or pork... no idea what was in there but I am pretty sure there was only one kind of meat and huge amounts of egg cut to the size of what you would expect to be meat? Honestly, I liked this restaurant, they had amazing Pho last time, but they failed so badly tonight I am pretty sure we will never order again. Maybe they should give every meal equal consideration regardless of the order total?

Very Inconsistent. I went to this restaurant because they had delicious vegetable pho the 1st time I went there. I was a weekly customer for 4 weeks and every time the pho was not as good as the first time. The last time I went a woman took my order, Im assuming this was the owner, and my wife and I ordered the same thing we always get: Vegetable pho, it comes with an array of veggies and veggie broth. The dishes that were given to us were not vegetable pho. We received half of the serving of vegetables and tons of tofu, nothing disgusts me more than slimy tofu. The entire dish reeked like the tofu and mushrooms as well as the broth. It was bad enough that I dont need to eat here again. I didnt like that the chef was not using gloves, but that can happen anywhere, not being attentive to my dinner which is just over priced soup is not acceptable. I am going to look for another place to give my hard earned money to. I noticed that when you sit down and eat they will give you a free appetizer for giving them a 5 star review... makes me wonder if any of the reviews on here are even accurate.

Dont judge by its cover. Appetizer: Crab Wantons were out of this world. Entre: The sesame chicken was fresh, hot, tasted clean and loved. Rice: White rice was sticky and traditional! Fried rice was dry and had more in common with Mexican rice sadly. Portion size: 5 of us including two teenagers ordered 5 dinners and with what was left we could have gotten away with ordering 3 dinners. Price: Good price for food and portion size Environment: The store is rough around the edges, clean. Customer service: If there is a world record for great customer service in a Chinese restaurant this place wins. 3 different folks checked on us, all three were kind, friendly and happy. We loved it. We will be back!

Holy Cow ! This place has changed. Last time I was there it was dark and dreary and rundown. There is a new owner cook and staff and boy what a difference. I spent 3 years in China and I can tell you THIS IS REAL CHINESE FOOD. Order from the traditional Chinese menu and you wont be dissapointed. My wife (Chinese) raved about her spicy fish bowl. I have been back twice and everytime I clean my plate. The staff is so polite and attentive it seems unusual for a small Chinese place. Jing and Jason have really done a good job in remodeling and cleaning up this place. It is a totally different restaurant than the one I remember.. I will have to try the take out next time

The food was delicious. We had dumplings pho and basil chicken. We just so happened to dine in before a big to go order was placed but Mark our server/cook was phenomenal. He tried so hard to get our food out as soon as possible. He multi-tasked taking order over the phone, up front, cook and serve. There were only two people working today but I think the other guy was delivering. Mark made sure we were happy with the food and our dining experience. He was such a sweetheart and I will absolutely go back only if he works that day. Mark deserve an employee of the month award or a pay raise.

Gourmet should be in the name of this restaurant! I cant believe all the amazing options on their menu! And now they have Happy Hour specials on apps and specialty dishes! The corn and pine nuts app is delightfully simple, inexpensive and extremely tasty! So are the dumplings... duh. The Shrimp and Mussels hot pot was beyond anything Ive ever tasted at the simple, americanized, take out Chinese restaurants. China 88 offers you so much more than Sesame, General Tso or Kung Pao chicken. Make a point to dine in, and TRY THE SPECIALTY DISHES! You will not be disappointed. Um a num num NUM!

China 88 the only decent Chinese delivery in town. New ownership is quite nice. Good food...ordered》》Drunken noodles, egg rolls, cream cheese wontons, sweet & sour chicken, shrimp in lobster sauce, and combination lo mein. And the food was delicious. Large portions hot and fresh. Would have rated 5 stars except the prices on their website are cheaper than the order. $20 cheaper! The delivery guy was awesome but I just wish the prices were correct on the Website. Thanks for delivering in our area where it is either bad food or bad food. Update prices and 5 stars is a given rating.

Terrible, I dont know how this place got as many stars as it did but it was just terrible. People rating this restaurant so high obviously have never had good Chinese food. Not to mention the host/ cashier was very rude and abrasive, didnt know what was going on.The cabage in the egg rolls was way over cooked and soggy, the duck meat was way too dry, the wontons were just disgusting, and the fried rice was very, very bland. I did not enjoy this meal at all. If you want good Chinese food go to Colorado Wok. Its sad I have to go all the way to Lafayette to find decent Chinese food.

since the new ownership in September 2015, we have been back at least three times a month! the food is fresh, tasty, and authentic. the staff is friendly and efficient. the restaurant is clean and you can always see what is going on in the kitchen. we have dined in, ordered take out, and asked for delivery. we are highly pleased with China 88s food and service. To top it off, their prices are extremely affordable! This place is a hidden gem in Longmont!

Tried this place out finally, seeing their sign on the road for pho. My wife is Thai, and picky, but this place is awesome! Pho was great and generous, wings fried perfectly with yummy curry sauce... short ribs also seasoned and cooked perfectly , crisp and soft, and the coconut dipping sauce was unique and awesome!!! My daughter was wowed by the corn pine nut dish... cant wait to get back to try more... our new goto for regular home town eats spot!

Love this little place. A small, family-owned joint right around the corner from home, we order takeout here a couple times a month. The spring rolls, pork with garlic sauce, Penang curry, and the pho are all fantastic. Free egg rolls when you spend 20 bucks which is a nice touch, and we just found out they have a surprisingly awesome and quite affordable happy hour in the restaurant as well. Definitely recommend this place.
