I went here with my sister for lunch and neither of us will be returning. First of all I have celiac disease and was really in the mood for a rice-noodle based dish. I asked the waitress if she could check with the cooks if the noodles have gluten. She flat out refused to look telling me that no rice noodle will ever have gluten. As someone that has been dealing with this disease for years I am quite aware that about half of all rice noodles have a wheat flour coating. I should have left right then and there but decided instead to just order a rice based dish. My sister ordered mushroom pork but the server came back a few minutes later telling her all of the mushrooms had gone bad and she would have to change her order. We really should have taken this as a sign to leave... I am torn on the decor here. It had a few nice pieces of wall art and nothing glaringly ugly in the main part of the restaurant. The place could use with a little up keep but overall I was happy with it for a takeout place. They never finished painting the bathrooms but honestly I wouldnt care if I hadnt of been spending so much time in my own bathroom that night. I have never had a case of food poisoning that bad in my life. I would never recommend this restaurant, well maybe if I want revenge on someone.

I used to order from Golden Boar all of the time 4 or 5 years ago, and had initially given the restaurant a 5-star rating. Im sorry to say that they have really gone downhill. I hadnt ordered from this restaurant in about 18 months after a not too great experience, but we decided to the other night and man what a mistake. The first sign of something amiss is that the delivery driver sat in his car at the end of my driveway having a very animated "conversation" for literally 12 minutes before he actually rung the door. Seriously? By the time the food actually got to my table, it was cold. The "House Noodle Soup" is...well, a TON of noodles. I like noodles, but this is about a pound of bland, white, noodles. A few pieces of "meat" that is difficult to identify punctuated the noodles, and literally about 1/2 a cup of funky flavored broth ties together the dish. All in all, a waste of $7.50. The crab cheese wontons are way over cooked. The cream cheese is now solidified after being hammered in a deep fryer. Finally, I ordered pork fried rice and got pork lo mein. I will not be ordering from this place again.

Ehhh. I am a big fan of many Asian foods. Chinese is the one that I always expect to be good no matter where its made. Wrong! While the service and delivery at Golden Boar is great, the food has no sense of authenticity. The fried rice is hardly fried. It was cooked once, then poorly sauteed in the pan to fry, and the veggies in it were not enough. Overall, it was very bland. The pork used in it was gristly. The sesame chicken was pretty good, but again, the chicken pieces were not carefully selected, as I bit into a few connective tissue pieces, and it ruined my apettite. Having recently moved to the Littleton area, I am finding that there is no authenticity or ethnicity for that matter in the food around here. Everything is bland. I usually drive up Federal into the heart of the "ethnicity" now to find my food. Prices of Golden Boar compare to every other chinese food place Ive been, not too expensive, but not cheap.

A whole range of good eating from Asian cuisine-Chinese/Thai/Vietnamese. Im a Denver native and have been in the area twenty years and just dined at the Golden Boar for the first time yesterday. The Golden Boar is my new favorite place to enjoy my Asian appetite. The restaurant and public facilities were clean, service was excellent, the menu was broad, and the prices were reasonable. Truly, the chef is of master of flavor n spice blends without too much burn thats cooked right into the food to deliver taste thats unbelievable. The food satisfies my very particular Asian palate. The food isnt greasy and theres no MSG. I would rate this restaurant with 5 stars BEST in Littleton and anywhere in Denver.

I grew up not far from this restaurant and am a HUGE fan. The ambiance is cozy and the restaurant in clean. I used to order take out all the time and now that I live in Denver, I miss it. I take the opportunity to return when I can. LOVE their lo mein, spring rolls, sesame chicken and Mongolian beef! Delivery service is quick, the staff is polite and friendly, and the food is great. Definitely a good neighborhood find.

We had 5 different dishes and each one was perfectly cooked and had well balanced flavors within each one. I have been in China and their food closely resembles what I ate in country. This family run restaurant is definitely on the do again list. If you are looking for atmosphere, sales oriented waitress or Chinese-American food look elsewhere, if you are looking for a delight in eating experience this is the place.

Ordered delivery and was pleased. Quick delivery and good food. They have a wide variety of Tofu dishes for those that are trying to avoid meat. Their orange tofu dish is recommended for those that like orange chicken. Gave a 3 to decor although I havent seen the inside of the place. Just didnt want to knock them down on score for something I havent seen.

Im not sure about their in restaurant experience, but their delivery is no good. The speed of delivery was fine but the food was absolutely awful. The ribs and chicken was mostly bone with literal feathers sticking out. Egg roll was a bunch of lettuce fried, nothing else. Shrimp was hard. It was all just terrible. I do not suggest ordering from here.

Last night I had some sesame chicken and general tsos chicken delivered.....it was terrible. The food tastes exactly like the Asian chicken I buy from Costco in a bag. The vegetables were soggy, clearly werent fresh. You would be better off going to the supermarket and buying a pre-frozen meal...itd be a better value that way for the same quality

I ordered delivery from their website, super convenient. We got the chicken with garlic sauce and twice cooked pork. Both were delicious and came with lots of stir fried veggies. The rice was nice and sticky. I loved how I was able to choose the level of spiciness for each dish (mild, medium, hot.) Five stars! I will be eating from here again.

I trusted the reviews and ordered from Golden Boar this evening. Sadly, it was really not good at all. We didnt even save the leftovers. The Spicy Shrimp came in a weird, syrupy, mushy sauce. The Garlic Chicken was strangely sweet. The soups were bland. I like Chinese food, but this place was not good.

The worst Chinnese food I have EVER had. The wontons were over cooked with barley ANY filling inside that was HARD! the meat in the combination fried rice was horrible, looked like it had been boiled NOT fried! the only thing that was good was the egg rolls and I am sure they are preordered.
