Really liked this place and enjoyed the atmosphere and coffee/pastries until today. Was buying a Blueberry Muffin and was told $3.25??????? For a Blueberry Muffin? Sugar, Flour, Baking Soda, Eggs and Blueberries. REALLY? And the crumbs on top were HARD, baked this morning????? OK, but that was not all, when I mentioned the price I get the snippy answer : " well, you dont have to buy it," Oh, thank you, I was NOT aware of that, LOL! Who needs a smart a......comment like that on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, most of all if you are not the only place in town...........!!!!!!

Nice place to go for coffee in the mornings. The place is set up in a fashion that says, "Come in and warm up, mountain people." We come here whenever we go camping in Leadville. GREAT coffee and super knowledgeable baristas. They have several pieces of artwork, that were carved out of the pine destroyed by beetles, for sale. It appears to be laser engraved pieces of every 14er in Colorado... SUPER COOL! I would definitely recommend grabbing coffee here in the mornings!

Great atmosphere with a wide selection of baked goods to choose from. I wish I was able to buy one of everything just so I could try it. They also have wooden models of various mountains for sale. These make a great souvenir for any 14er that youve climbed. The only bad part is the line backs up easily and it takes a while for the staff to take orders. A few changes to how orders are taken should eliminate this problem.

The coffee and bakery items were great!. I tried three different baked goods from them during my time in Leadville and enjoyed all of them immensely. Maybe their sandwiches, which are not served in the morning, would have been better for "real food" but Id suggest passing on the breakfast burrito as I found it to be lacking.

I love this place. The coffee and baked goods are top-notch. Try their delicious breakfast burritos. TRUE STORY: I lost my wallet sitting on a bench outside the shop. They found it, and hung on to it for me until I could get back there to pick it up. Really appreciate this type of honesty these days :)

Since I started going to Leadville, this place has become a daily hangout spot. The whole town filters through here at some point. The coffee is excellent and the atmosphere is lively. Good place for tourists to learn whats going on around town.

This cafe is a great oasis of civilization in a town that needs it badly. Leadville is hurting, but this spot has helped me by having good coffee, excellent pastries, and free wifi. Also check out the art on the wall -- most is for sale!

Top of the line atmosphere, great employees with lots of knowledge of the town and how to properly enjoy it. Their menu has a vast variety of options. I personally love their house brew coffee cuz its like jet fuel(delicious).
