An institution of sorts in the Vail valley, Columbine is the go-to for any bakery items you want. Their deserts and breakfast treats are simply outstanding and if you are looking for a proper sit-down breakfast, be sure to try the Quiche. All is prepared in house and amazingly good. Dont be surprised if there is a queue here, especially in the ski season months.

The breakfast pastries were really good and reasonably priced around 1.50. I would reccommend taking them to go as the atmosphere was just ok, and the drinks were way too expensive. Paid almost 6 dollars for 2 cups of gross diner coffee and a glass of OJ. Atmosphere is more like a small diner than a coffee shop.

We love having breakfast at the Columbine Cafe & Bakery. Our biggest disappointment is when they are closed. Have been going here for years...food and service are always good. Also have ordered food for take out for in home entertaining. Owner and staff have always been most helpful.

Wonderful ,great service , great food , They have had some staff changes . That can take some time to train them , Strange when someone eats there once and gives a negative service review !! Eat there more often and you will change your mind

My daughter had Columbine copy a cake from a magazine and it turned out exactly the way we asked. It was delicious as well. We had alternating carrot cake layers with vanilla and fruit layers. Perfection!

My favorite bakery! I always buy their cakes for birthdays and other occasions. Midnight Chocolate and Black Forest Chocolate cakes are the best!! Highly recommend!!
