Food was mediocre, pricing was pretty standard. The reason it gets two stars is that they swindled me out of $2, in the form of charging for a refill on salsa. Every Mexican restaurant you ever go to in the entire universe gives you free chips and salsa, right? Well this place will charge you $2 for the second (tiny) bowl of salsa, which I didnt even really want, the waitress just suggested salsa when I asked for hot sauce for my food. Then she brought it, and charged me $2 for it. When I complained to her, in front of another guy who seemed to be the owner, she just mumbled "sorry." No offer to take it off. So now Im scarred for life, every Mexican restaurant I go to from now on Ill have to ask them if they charge for salsa and probably be thought to be crazy, because come on, obviously nobody does that. Except this place.

Sorry but I depended on Google reviews to help make the (bad) decision to dine here. Cheap prices, but such cheap food. If I had one word to describe it: basic. From the decor to the food. Slow service because for some reason there was a line out the door. Seriously, the chips, the beans everything was out of a bag/can. The quesadilla was something I could have made with tortillas, chicken, cheese, and a microwave (clearly they use different pictures on the menu). Meat had no flavor. Everything was very plain, very dry, even the sour cream came in packets. No idea why it was so busy. Dare I say skip this and find a Taco Bell? More flavor in that.

Best chicken tacos around! The margaritas are good, the staff are nice and helpful if you have questions. The only complaint I could think of with this place is there fried ice cream isnt fried, But it still taste great. This is the only place to eat in town that no matter how many times I go I have never had a bad experience.

$8 for a burrito?I would be happy to pay this if it was great. None of the ingredients were fresh, all from cans. The service was good but the food was the mexican version of McDonalds. The burrito I got was something you would expect from the dollar menu at Taco Bell.

This is a family owned restaurant. I have gone here for over 30 years when in Leadville. I LOVE their green chili and the Combo Flour Tostada w/green chili has always been one of my favorites. If you are looking for trendy "yuppie" mexican food….look else where.

Nice folks and location. The food was not very good. My taco was a thick, cold shell with unseasoned chicken topped with some iceberg lettuce and 8 cubes of tomato.

Honestly, Ive only gotten my food To Go. The ingredients are fresh and they spice their dishes nicely. The longtime locals eat here. That should tell you something.
