Ive eaten here a couple times, 1st time was great, 2nd time we came back the food was just as good but the service wasnt very nice. Our waitress, "I moan", was horribly akward, each time she visited our table she overstayed her welcome. My drink was not refiled during my meal, kind of annoying when you have spicy food. Each time she would leave the dining room and enter the kitchen she sounded off some sort of yelling announcement like a tugboat going out to sea. If that wasnt distracting enough she had the nerve to whip out the push sweeper and clean the carpet surrounding our table. It was very unprofessional, rude and left me with a very bad taste clouding the entire dining experience. An older woman was sitting at the bar, presumably the manager, she also had a lack of respect for customers as she allowed everything previously described to go down and carried on loud yelling conversations with the other staff. Now the one thing they have going for them is the food, it is really good and well prepared. Its a shame that the poor service and management casts a shadow over the talented kitchen. We probably wont be back for a while.

Wait staff needs serious training. Yelling over counters, gossiping near tables. I dont want to hear about how you totaled your friends car or how you were drunk that one night, Okay? We are (excuse me, were) frequent customers and this has been the case each time. Our last and final experience: We sat at our table for nearly 10 MINUTES until someone came to take an order just for drinks. When I finally ordered my pasta, it came with meatballs (I asked for no meatballs initially) - Im vegetarian, so I asked for a remake. The waiter took it back, came back a few minutes later with a new plate as he stated with ZERO meat... when they clearly just forked out the meat and gave it back to me. There were bits of meat strewn about the pasta. By this time we had already waited some time for our food, and when my boyfriend saw this he spoke up for me as I was so mad I couldnt talk to anyone. We told the waiter this who yet again had to put in a new plate to be remade.. . We were frequent customers, but this one experience is enough for me to never go back. We will try the same restaurant, at a different establishment.

Spend your time elsewhere. We just moved to Lafayette and were excited to see we were so close to this restaurant, since we really liked the Pinocchios in Longmont. Unfortunately, it appears the talent seems to be pooled in Longmont. We have been here twice now in the last month and both times were met with poor food & service. As far as service goes, it seems the waitress (I say waitress instead of waitresses because every time we go there is only one working) is doing her best to keep up, but with 6 tables of hungry people and what appears to be no help she can only do so much. The food is mediocre Italian. The noodles (store bought) and marinara are generic. The salad was yellow & limp (chopped into tiny little slivers so you can barely get your fork into them) The atmosphere could be really romantic, but with UBER bright table lamps (we turned ours off after we started seeing spots) and dirty table clothes it was hardly what we were accustomed to compared to the other Pinocchios. Take it from experience, go somewhere else.

My family and I went to dinner to celebrate my moms birthday and, with the exception of our server, it was terrible. We arrived around 7:00, not knowing that they closed in an hour, and shortly after being seated we noticed the manager loudly telling her staff to hurry so they could close. We ordered and ate as quickly as we could so that we didnt keep them past 8:00. When our food arrived the manager started turning off the lights around us and once again yelling "Hurry up, we need to close." Making it blatantly obvious that she was talking to us this time, instead of her staff. We left at 8:10!! My whole family has worked in restaurants before, so we completely understand the frustration of people coming in close to closing time, however we were there an hour before. If youre looking for a nice family restaurant, dont go to Baseline Italian Bistro. McDonalds has better customer service.

Id rate this a 4 if the service was faster. Came here for lunch; a few tables were taken but the restaurant was by no means packed. Server was nice, but she didnt stop to check in to see if we needed more water, how the food was, etc. Salad is very basic (I think the garden salad came straight from a bag as it was just lettuce and shredded carrots in my bowl), breadsticks (aka pinocchio sticks) are good and fresh, although if we had to pay extra for them I wish they were larger. They were about as long as a ballpoint pen. Ziti was very good, which offsets anything I nitpicked about the meal. It was very hot (came out with a silicone trivet under the dish), a rich and creamy tomato based sauce and gooey melted cheese on top. Id return for the ziti!

Atmosphere and decor are severely lacking. Service is great, hence two stars. As for food, the rolls were practically dough, water was from the tap, salad was bagged romaine. At this point I hoped that the main course would turn it around. Unfortunately there were yet lower depths to sink. My heaping portion of pasta alfredo arrived, drenched in so much sauce that the contents of the dish were barely visible. The pasta was far too chewy (undercooked dough products seem to be a trend here), and the sauce was far too thin. It tasted like someones recollection of what alfredo might taste like after not having tasted it in 20 years. We went elsewhere for dessert. I will not be returning.

Perfect spot for a nice summer evening dinner. The atmosphere is enchanting, the restaurant & patio are very clean. Their drinks are well made. The food is delectable-practically an orgasm for your mouth! In particular the ‘Spicy Toasted Ravioli’ appetizer is a unique & delicious dish to try. All of the food ordered you can taste the fresh, homemade quality. Vegetarian friendly, very fulfilling. The desserts (we had the ‘Summer Fruit Cake’) are both phenomenal in taste, texture, & appearance! The staff is charismatic, attentive, kind & are happy to oblige in any issues you might have. Live in Westminster but this place is definitely worth the drive & the price! Highly recommend!

We will not go back to eat here. We gave this restaurant 2 tries and had the same experience both times. Gone for breakfast both times, waited for more than 45 minutes to be served, being told different stories by wait staff and manager and being asked to wait longer food will come soon. Both times with us leaving hungry, not fed and being given a bill to pay for our food before we were given our breakfast. We walked out angry, hungry, not fed and wondering how this place stays in business.

If you want to leave hungry , eat at Pinocchios. The portions are extremely small. A few bites and it is over. I ordered Eggplant parmigiana for $15 and a few bites it was over. I had to go have dinner after eating there. I will surely never go there again.I went there with a lady friend. The bill was $60 for dinner and wine and then we had to go have a real dinner after. I told the server that the portion was extremely small and all she was smile at me. Thumbs down on this place.
