Worst "family" restaurant Ive ever been to. *Unlike the response from the restaurant, our kids WERE NOT "running around". They were right next to our table and I was playing with them. I did this because our service was slow and we were waiting too long before getting a check to be able to leave.* We had the worst experience ever with one member of the staff, which later I learned was the manager. Our kids (1&3) were done eating so we let them play next to us, they were laughing and giggling "too loud" and the manager came over and told us to keep them quiet. When I responded that its hard to keep a 1 and 3 year old quiet she made a snide comment back. They were not running around the restaurant like the manager has said in reply to other reviews, so not only were they awful to us but then they lied to make it look like our kids were misbehaving. I was so stunned we have never been told to keep our happy children quiet at a restaurant, and this one wasnt even nice! All of the tables around us couldnt believe what the manager did, especially since my kids were not the only ones having a fun time making noise. The food was also soggy and the service was slow. We will never go back and strongly encourage you to find a different place to go if you have children.

The Gondelier is really whole heartedly the best restaurant I have ever been to! My family and I have been coming here for 3 generations and have never ever had a bad time or poor service or anything negative. The times I have tipped the highest have also been at this restaurant. Amazing date night, family get togethers, or even just a sit down dinner. The service here is outstanding!!! Very professional but very good with children. Not too many times can you go out to dinner with the kiddos and it turn out exceptionally great. Their staff are curteous and kind and great with keeping kids entertained. And as you can research, there is a reason they have been around for so very long and I really do hope that continues for them. Beautifully tasteful Italian food and drinks but for a good, reasonable price. 10+ stars from our end! Thank you Gondelier and staff :-)

As soon as we walked in we were rudely "greeted" by a man who acted as if he didnt even want to help us to begin with. Then we had to ask for a highchair for my 1 year old son and he then proceeded to throw a fit because it would be a "fire hazard" leaving the high chair in the isle. Wonder what they do if anyone else brings in children... Then the waitor comes by with our waters slams the glasses down on the table and then says guess Ill give you some time to look then very rudely. No introduction, no welcome to their restaurant nothing. We ended up leaving right away due to this horrible customer service and absolutely disrespectful employees. Will NEVER be eating at this place again.

Ordered chicken parmesan togo and ended up with a very soggy mess by the time I got home. Not sure if this was because I had to drive for 15 minutes before eating or if the chicken was just not cooked right to give it that crispy exterior. The noodles it came with are way too thick/soggy as well. Im not a newcomer to homemade noodles; I love the ones they make at other Italian restaurants, but these were way too heavy and once again, soggy for my tastes. I didnt see any options to get regular-sized (thin) spaghetti noodles on the menu so Im still not sure if they even offer them.

Nestled in just a skip and a hop away from the hustle and bustle of Downtown Boulder, Gondoliers is a fantastic gem. The garlic knots are delicious (says my mom who hates garlic knots), and the dishes are fantastic. My vegetarian husband always has multiple options with no fuss for hidden ingredients in the sauces. The homemade spaghetti is a great mix of nostalgia and tastiness. The pizza isnt my favorite, but the calzones hit it out of the park. Decent cocktails (mmm Sangria), local beer selection, and a variety of desserts to top it all off.

Yum!!! Very good prices and a crazy amount of food. The portions are huge! They have a wide variety on the menu and a very nice wine list. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and comfortable and the service is friendly. I am giving four stars instead of five because sometimes my pasta noodles have been a little bit sticky and doughy. They are very thick and homemade so maybe that goes with the territory. Anyway if you try the Gondolier you will not be disappointed. Dont forget the garlic bread, its the best!!!

I love this place, its a little Italian place in the quite part of Boulder that belongs on Pearl Street. Me and my roommates go here most Tuesdays for the unlimited homemade pasta deal. The homemade pasta is delicious, and there are several sauces to choose from. We usually go with a group but I see plenty of couples enjoying each others romantic company. Super tasty food, great pasta, good atmosphere and the unlimited pasta deal on Thursdays is really swell.

This is truly gourmet italian! We took our 1 year old son with us one night for dinner. Our plates were fantastic, but thats not what sets Gondolier apart. We got the chicken fingers for our son. You know what I expect when I order that stuff? The same old processed chicken crap. You should have seen them! 100% hand cut and battered chicken breast! That speaks so much to the owners attention to quality all around. We will definitely be back!

I really like this place. They have very thick homemade spaghetti noodles which are great with the marinara. Sometimes Ill ask for the 1/2 marinara and the 1/2 tomato, its spicy but a little sweeter. I also like the ravioli, all are good sized portions with plenty to take home. The pizza is a favorite as well, try their sausage on top, its different, more ground and really good! Good food at a reasonable price, you wont be disappointed.

Hosted a small birthday gathering in their back room. Staff was accommodating for the small informal event. Location is easy to get to from different areas of the metro area with US36, Baseline and Foothills close by. Food was good, hot when served. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I remember in college days visiting this restaurant at the prior location for all you can eat spaghetti. I believe this tradition continues on Tuesdays.

Awesome. From the Pinot Grigio on tap, to the garlic knots, to the eggplant parmesan sandwich, to the delicious and creamy cheesecake. Others in my group enjoyed the spaghetti + ravioli combo and the chicken parmesan. Theres also something to be said about the decor - great improvement from their last location, and a beautiful bar. This is a great atmosphere for family time or date night. Everyone was very satisfied!

Fantastic experience fairly priced. Great family experience here, my kid had mozz sticks and carrots nothing too fancy but he loved it. Wife got the Spaghetti with Ravioli and said it was some of the best pasta she has ever had. I got the Calzone and easily the best one Ive had since I was a kid. Fast service, everyone seemed friendly. Hard to beat!
