This was both my first and last time. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros. They brought out my plate, and the eggs were very undercooked and my hashbrowns were a very small amount of crunchy potato rejects. I told our waiter about the undercooked eggs, and he had my meal made again. When they brought out my plate for the second time, it was better, and the manager apologized profusely, and told us that he would not charge us for the Huevos Rancheros. When we were waiting for our check, I noticed that the hostess walked over to a table near us, and took a bite of food from one of the guests plates. I assume she new them personally, so while not disgusting, was still very unprofessional. Then she walked over to another table to help a busboy clear a table, and I saw her drink from one of them cups, comment that the drink was "interesting" and then go back up to the front of the restaurant. I asked my wife how she liked her food, she said that her pancakes were just OK, and we should have just gone to IHOP. When we got our check, there were two charges for my Huevos Rancheros, and only one negative charge, I didnt feel like being the customer that makes everything difficult, so we ended up paying for it and leaving.

No shade screen over any of the large windows facing the sun; could hardly read the menu through the blaring sunlight. Service was a bit slow in a mostly empty restaurant and the pitcher on the table, perhaps because it was in the sun, was warm and as we were thirsty and ran out of ice in our cups we just had warm water. The food came out looking and tasting great, until the second of my eggs Benedict turned out to have quite a bit of eggshell in the surrounding sauce and the egg itself was entirely raw in the yolk and much of the egg white to the point the white slid right off the intact yolk membrane. The waitress had confirmed the eggs would be poached "medium" when she took my order. I gave up on the sauce after eating a bunch of eggshell and still finding more. I only ate half my entree for that reason and after mentioning politely to the waitress these issues for the chefs information, she wasnt particularly friendly anymore and slid us the check without a word. The manager/owner came by and gave me a hand written coupon for one free pancake. You be the judge.

My wife and I love the Urban Egg in Fort Collins (5 star review) and decided to take our family out to the one in Highlands Ranch thinking it would be a similar experience. The food was still good and that is what earned it the 2 stars I gave. The service on the other hand was horrible. We felt very forgotten and had to hunt down to find our server to get refills and drinks ordered. The check came and was completely different from what we actually ordered. They had charged us for meals that were completely different from what we actually ordered, but said server was still so hard to track down that we just paid the bill so as to not waste anymore time at the restaurant. We will not be returning to this location in the future.

I decided to go back a second time when I was less than impressed before. A basic breakfast of eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast and once again disappointment. I ordered the eggs over medium and they came out more like over easy. The hash browns were very greasy and I could not finish them. The bacon was crisp as ordered but tasteless for some reason. The coffee was good and the service was fine. If you are going to charge top prices you need to deliver and unfortunately that was not the case. Pass

Food is very good but we waited 10 minutes for our glasses with vodka so we could go to the bloody mary bar. The waitress told us 3 times that she was bringing them. She also struggled to tell us what the special was. The bloody mary bar was tucked into a tiny spot & was hard to find and only 1 person can be there at a time. It was also very crowded after they put 2 tables together to accommodate a group of 4 in the middle of the walkway.

I had some errands to run early and the UE came up as a great breakfast place. I took googles advice and am sitting here now enjoying the best breakfast burrito Ive ever had. The manager also came to say hi and check on me (huge in my book)! I gave you five stars for the service alone, the food was an amazing bonus, thanks guys!!

Nothing too special about this place. We split some pancakes and huevos. Pancakes were fine, but the huevos was really lacking. Its green chili was too sweet, and it was really just the chili, tortilla, and eggs with a tiny smear of beans. Wouldnt recommend people go out of there way to try, but it wasnt awful.

Only because I cant do zero star. Cant tell you how the food, or wait staff, was. We didnt make it past the hostess. She took our name, stating 15 min wait. We watched her seat 5 other groups of people, whos name she took after, before we finally walked out. This is the first time i have walked out of a place.

Nothing really bad, but nothing really great. Service was a bit slow (he looked young and inexperienced). Food was what we ordered, but nothing fancy. If youre close by I guess its worth it. For us, its a 25-minute drive and not worth it. In a city with amazing breakfast options, this one is only average.

Greast food, staff is friendly and fast. Nice to have water and coffee while waiting... whoever came up with that simple idea is brilliant. If you order eggs Benedict (blue crab was fire) make sure you order the English muffin crispy! (Unless you like Benedict with soft muffins?). Yum.

The breakfast was amazing. The service was good, and very friendly. The food was really good especially the breakfast burrito. The overall value for the food was good. The only thing that was ridiculous is the price of the chocolate milk at $3.49. Overall it was a very good breakfast.

The best gluten free breakfast in the country. Outstanding service, with nice waiters and very nice decor. You can be out in a flash, or stay a while and enjoy the atmosphere. Breakfast for 2 easily under $30 this is a must have for everyone, and a NO BRAINER for anyone with Celiac.

They have a creative and delicious breakfast menu with gluten free options taste like REAL FOOD! The staff have always been very friendly, and the prices are reasonable for the quality and selection of food. For a family with food allergies, this is our go-to breakfast place.

This place is the bomb! We endulged with the make-your-own bloody mary bar and werent disappointed. Their breakfast menu is unique and I didnt see a bad thing on the menu. Well done. This is my new favorite place for a Highlands Ranch breakfast. I will be back again.

Good coffee, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Urban egg is associated with a Mexican restaurant which runs during the evening. Quite a few Mexican breakfast options on the menu. Service is quick. Seating during the weekend morning rush can take 15-30min.

Great breakfast, good timely and friendly service. Great breakfast place for my money, even if I had to wait for a few tables to flip during prime time. Time your visit if youre impatient and dont want to talk to your meal mates ;)
