Abysmal service, sub-par food - what a pitifully disappointing brunch! I have seen Revelry mentioned in several "best of" lists, and there was absolutely nothing at Revelry that lent the slightest clue why this place isnt reviled instead of revered. I came in just after 1:00 PM today (Saturday), and the indoors seating was roughly 10% occupied, and all had food in front of them, so the kitchen might be finishing entrees or desserts - definitely an untaxed kitchen. This should be a quick meal, and if this place is as half as good is its purported to be, this will be a great meal! Ummmm - yeah? NO! For some reason, it took almost a half-hour to get two entrees - Steak & Eggs (medium-well steak, scrambled eggs) and Lemon & Poppy Seed Waffle, and a side of bacon. I also requested that my server "drop everything, ship everything" - drop the whole order, and deliver as each item came up. But, everything arrived all at once - and everything was frigid - even the well-beyond well-done steak. Hell, there were three two-tops that got sat, and served their entrees before anything was delivered. The Steak & Eggs: the steak, as mentioned, was way, way overcooked - even for a medium-well steak - although it wasnt too dry, it seemed to be bathed in butter or some kind of oil that kept it from being crunchy. But still, way-overdone - and descriptively closer to cold than warm. The eggs were just okay - and cold too. The best part of the whole meal was the small portion of hash browns on the Steak & Eggs entree - wonderful texture and flavor (with "house ketchup"), although very, very greasy. The Lemon & Poppy Seed Waffle: bland, bland, plain... Yawwwwnnnnnn. The best part of this dish was the vanilla whipped cream - good texture and flavor. But the waffle was only slightly better texture than an Eggo, but less flavor. The lemon curd was insanely sweet - shave-your-tongue sweet, but when combined with the cardboard waffle, all I could taste was bland cardboard taste separate from the awfully sweet lemon curd. Never saw, tasted, or even smelled a poppy seed, either. I wonder how many boxes Eggo waffles I couldve gotten for the $11.00 instead of this utterly pitiful waffle dish. (Note: I havent had Eggos since I was a kid - theyre very unhealthful and bland - couldnt ever imagine eating them ever again - unless the only other choice was Revelrys waffles.) The bacon - although ordered "crispy - but not crunchy" - was way-overcooked - very crunchy. Fall-apart crunchy. No-flavor, bland, just-this-side-of-cinders texture. Total bacon abuse - blech. The orange juice was pretty good - color and texture seemed to be fresh-squeezed, but the flavor was a little stale. It might have been squeezed on-site, but there wasnt anything "fresh" about this OJ. The coffee ("Revelry Kitchen proudly serves Denvers own Luna Roasters Gourmet Coffee") was okay. Nothing special... But the coffee cup was bottom-tapered - it held no more than 8 oz of coffee at a time, and my cup was empty more than ten minutes each of the three times I finished the "cup" of coffee (she never refilled my cup when dropping off the check until I left another ten minutes later. Im at an utter loss how anyone couldve liked this place. Are all the friends and family of the staff working overtime on Google Reviews, Yelp, Zomato, and all the other review sites to prop this place up? My entire bill came to $34.50 - before tax. I wouldve been fine to pay three times as much for a perfectly-prepared meal - but for more than $30, the food, drinks, and service should have been much, much, much better. Hell, Id prefer Perkins, Dennys - even McDonalds breakfast over this meal.

The food was very underwhelming. My wife and I had the Burrito and Biscuits & Gravy. Both had very roughly cut onions and tomatoes with chunks of raw onion the size of large grapes. The biscuits were very tasty, but were in a bowl of chorizo gravy that was the consistency of green chili soup which made them soggy almost immediately. Overall the food quality felt low and the flavors felt uninspired. On top of the food, there were a number of flies crawling on the windows, table and flying round which made for a gross dining experience. The one redeeming quality was the service. Everyone was friendly and nice throughout the entire dining experience. Sadly this was not enough to make up for the food experience. We will not be coming back.

We had a good vibe from the moment we walked in. My little 11 yr old cousin said what I was thinking, "these people all seem kind". So, I love brunch and theirs was deeelicious. First of all they can make ANYTHING on the menu gluten free!!! That was the main attraction to this place as my little cousin is gluten free. He couldnt decide which stack of pancakes to get, so they let him get some of both! One banana, two chocolate chip bacon with whipped Nutella on top. He was in heaven. A big thank you to them for letting us mix things up. I had the stack of gluten free blueberry pancakes with an egg on the side. It was all very good, the place has an interesting decor and the people were gracious. We hope to be back soon.

Stopped in after hearing about the Latin-American fusion going on here. Craving a Latin breakfast, and having many disappointing tries elsewhere Revelry did not disappoint. Their menu will have something to satisfy any breakfast goers appetite. We decided on starting with the Churro doughnuts topped with chocolate, yes they are as delectable as they sound. My fiancé ordered the daily special soup de jour- Chili which she loved, and I Charred Jalapeño biscuits and Chorizo gravy. Both meals were tasty and filling the coffee is great and the service was great. The food came to our table very quickly. After eating here I would put Revelry Kitchen as one of the 5 best breakfast spots in denver.

Not worth the wait. We were seated quickly despite it being a Sunday morning. Then we waited more than an hour for our food. I ordered the Karter, which is fried chicken and waffles. The chicken tasted good but was so overdone and dried out that it was inedible. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and really liked it. I think he was the only one of the five of us who liked his meal. Everybodys food was lukewarm when it arrived. The server was very good and apologetic, saying that the kitchen was really backed up. She ended up comping our coffee, which was a nice gesture. At $75 for five people, it was not worth it.

The atmosphere was great. The service was just fine. My girlfriend and I found the food to be average at best. We both got hashes, her the veggie and myself the special. Hers had mash potatoes, that had some under cooked potatoes and said the dish was very bland. Mine had potatoes that were basically quartered and cooked. Most of the potatoes in my dish were also under cooked, along with the peppers. We talked, and we both agreed that would would probably not be back as there are better places to go.

The locally roasted coffee is the best Ive had in the area. We also ordered the vegetable hash, blueberry pancakes and cinnamon roll. Every item was delicious, we will definitely go back. The staff were friendly and attentive, the restaurant itself was clean (we saw someone dusting in between the nooks and crannies of the wooden chairs!) and well decorated. On a Saturday morning, it was not overly crowded and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing.
