Being from New Mexico, good Mexican food is hard to find up here, but I absolutely love Salsa Brava. Weve always had great service and the food is delicious. Since the first time coming here, I havent ordered the same thing twice and I have never been disappointed. Normally, I stick to the same order at restaurants and I have finally stepped out of my comfort zone with Salsa Brava by trying new foods each time. Their portions are a bit much, but its not a bad thing to take leftovers home and enjoy more Salsa Brava later. If I have to be a little critical, its only with their salsa and hostesses. It seems we almost always have to search for the hostess because theyre not always obvious when you first walk in. After being seated our first time there, the gentleman that brought over the salsa and chips welcomed us and asked if wed ever been there and we simply replied with, "no." He set down the items and he thanked us for joining them. We took a bite of the chips with salsa and found the salsa was heated, it was almost too hot (temperature) for us and I slightly burned my tongue. Id never been to a place that warms their salsa. It wouldve been nice to have been informed the salsa was on the warm side. But as I said, great service and wonderful food.

This restaurant had been recommended to me by John from Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists. I am overly critical when it comes to food and want to start out by saying my meal and service was outstanding. I do prefer Tex Mex/ Cali Mex fan but enjoy traditional Mexican food as well. Pros: My waitress was polite and personable. The decor and finishing on the restaurant were top notch. I had the Carnitas and it was awesome. The meat was tender and was probably the best I have ever had. They used traditional spices but kicked it up a little. It was also laid out in traditional fashion with rice, beans and a nice big, thick tortilla. The Quaso was good as well. Cons: 1: The Pico de Gallo was blan and old. Either it was made with old tomatoes or it was made the day before. 2: Once the food was served it was hard to get the waitress back to the table and the bill took forever to get back as well. The cons were the only reason why I gave the Salsa Brava a 4 star instead of a 5. I will be back again to see if I can give them that last star.

Im a low maintenance customer and dont complain about much. I live in Highlands Ranch and wanted to try something different. The hostess was completely rude and acted like she was doing us a favor to let us know that part of our party was already seated. She just gave us a head nod of the general direction of the table. The waiter we had was friendly. He took our drink order when we first came in. My wife had sangria and I had a margarita. We at least like the one drink we had. Never offered to refill our drinks or refill the water. The table side guacamole was good. We had a party of 10 of us. The food came out at the same time. At least 4 of the dishes were cold. I had the famous carnitas. My dish was cold and the carnitas was dry. The waiter never came back to check on us after the meals were served. Our share of the bill was $60 and I feel like it was a waste. The rest of our family was not impressed as well. It would be hard for me to come back as a customer with the service and food we experienced.

This is my second time going and I will most certainly be back! Their margaritas tastes pretty boozy, and are a fair price at $3.50 during happy hour and ladies night (which occur on Thursdays). They offer free chips and salsa, as most places do, but their salsa is warm and smokey and I cant get enough of it. Their Baja rolls are wonderful, fresh, and super filling especially for happy hour price. For dinner, their steak fajitas for two was what we enjoyed. There was quite a bit of very well cooked and marinated steak, and enough leftovers for easily another two meals for the thirty dollar cost. A good place to go for drinks and dinner, delicious food, generous portions, and fair prices.

I tried Salsa Brave for the first time a few weeks ago and I must say my family and I enjoyed the food very much, the overall feel of the restaurant was very comforting and great until the middle of our experience....We had sat in the bar that night because no tables were available in the dining area, a table close to the kitchen and overheard a manager yelling at his employees using vulgar language and throwing quite the fit, to the point where a plate/bowl something along those lines was thrown across the kitchen. My wife and I felt horrible for the employees and quickly asked for our check to leave because we had our two small children with us. Great food but poor management and people:/

We were really looking to dinner with the family tonight at Salsa Brava. Unfortunately, my husbands meal was missing a key ingredient (cheese) and my carnitas were very dry. Despite the server noticing that I didnt eat more than two bites off my plate and declined a box, he never asked if everything was okay. While I didnt come straight out and complain, it should have been painfully obvious that we were not satisfied with our meal or service. At least the margaritas were good. We probably wont be back.

So went to this place last night, payed the bill and accidentally left my credit card. ......called them today and they had already "shredded it" ......talked to manager who said they have a 7 day retention policy before shredding. .......I reemphasized that I was just in there less than 24 hrs ago .....he said sorry......offering drink next time I was in......these are the facts so Ill let you decide on going or not going. From my point. ...place sounds shady.

Very yummy fish tacos! I had the blackened ones and asked for corn tortillas. They were fantastic. My man had the carne asada enchilada with avocado. He reports it was good, cheesy and authentic. The atmosphere was very nice. Inside was classy with lots of wood. The bar looked especially nice. Outside the patio was large and had lots of seating. There was also nice decoration with metal sculptures of cactus that actually looked real! I am glad we stopped.

We just went to Salsa Brava during our family vacation. We are from Texas, we know all about good pork ribs. The ribs from Salsa Brava were as good if not better than any I have ever eaten in my 59 plus years. The service was fantastic and ambiance was great. We will definitely be going back the next time we are in Colorado. Brennan was a great host to make sure our experience was the best ever. Thanks for a great time. John Cox

I have tried this place many times in the past 5 years, gets worse everytime. So disappointing. The food is so bland, absolutely no flavor. If you dont have taste buds you should be okay here. Service even worse than food, took 10 minutes to get a glass of wine and we were only people in restaurant. Server told me she was in a staff meeting, didnt apologize just didnt care we sat there without drinks.
