it’s a shame, this place use to be soooo good!!! i would go at least once a week to have a breakfast burrito with chips and guacamole. i havent been here in a while so i decided to go yesterday (7/26/2011) I was shocked to see how much the prices went up!!! $4.10 for a breakfast burrito? seriously? i thought that was outrageous!!! we still decided to order cause last time i remembered the food was great. so when we pulled up to the window, the lady told me my total was $11.00 (as she stumbled upon her words), in which i thought was very high for the items we ordered. so once i got the food i asked for a itemized receipt, she told me our credit card copy is our receipt and i told her she was wrong that i needed an ITEMIZED receipt, she got a little nervous when i asked and she started to give me the run around, but i started to speak Spanish to her and i told her i had the time to wait for one. so when i finally got it, of course, she overcharged me!!! i confronted her about it, she act like she didnt know what i was talking about but she gave me the difference...i was a bit upset about that, so when we got home i was even more upset when i noticed the chips were old and stale, and the torta we ordered was super thin. i will never ever in my life eat here again. i am totally disappointed about the value of the food and the fact that they tried to rip me off!!! For the record, I am Mexican and I think its sad she didn’t start taking me serious until I started to speak Spanish. I can only imagine how many people they have ripped off!!! Please check your receipts!!!

I never leave reviews, but I had to leave one for this place. It was horrible. Our taquitos were over cooked and rock hard. The guacamole is more like a paste and looks like bright green goo. The steak tacos, steak nachos and steak cheese fries were horrible. The steak tasted and looked old. The put their "guacamole" all over the cheese fries. The chile rellones looked as if they were thrown around, sloppy horrible mess because they put the entire entree in one container includong the rellenos, "guacamole", beans, soggy gross lettuce and just whatever ever else was in that poor little box. The beans are not traditional mexican and neither was the rice... sorry :/ its the worst place to get fast "Mexican" food in all of Denver/Lakewood. Nothing on the menu it good, fresh, or traditional - and the prices are outrageous. If you want good mexican, go a few blocks north on federal to Playa Azul, or honestly anywhere else but here cause youll regret it. The service was even bad - all three times we have gone here its usually an guy who is rude, in a hurry, who acts like every thing you say is abnormal and inconvenient. Thanks, but no thanks and sorry - but Im a little upset and there is really nothing that could be done to make me happy enough to prevent me from posting this because like i said, everything about this place is gross. Thanks! Hope this helps.

Yknow even though Im white I like me some spicy Mexican food, and Im talking some GOOD home-made tasting green chile. Im picky! And I havent found that to-die-for place yet. Ive gone to some places along Federal here that dont treat me nicely because of my race. I know some Spanish so that helps bring up the customer service points a few notches (but the food has still been pretty bland). I mean, I dont care about race, why else would I live in this neighborhood?? Id rather live next to Hispanic folks than some white trash ANY DAY OF THE WEEK. But I digress. I was treated perfectly nicely here (and I really appreciated that! Nobody likes to be discriminated against...) but HOT DANG! This place is expensive for being a little hole-in-the-wall lookin joint. The food was good. The sauces were good -- my mouth was burning in the good kind of way. But I wont be coming here too often due to the prices. Now that I read Lucys review below, Im beginning to think I was probably ripped off too! I was thinking when we got to the car, "$25 for two people to eat??" Im almost certain I got charged for an extra burrito to say the least. But still. $25 bucks isnt worth it, really.

Worst place to eat EVER!!! 2nd time ive been to this place and the 2nd time i had a bad experience with these people! Theyll never have me as a customer again. The lady at the drive thru window was rude and barely gave us anytime to order, it felt like my girl and i was being rushed.. i asked for no pico de gallo and what do i get on my burrito, yes pico de gallo, and the burrito was cold.. Did they make it cold when i ordered it or was it from a cancelled order and gave it to me to get rid of it??? Do not go to this place, youre better off taken a drive to somewhere nicer and with employees with a little more respect for there customers!!!

This establishment is incredibly poorly ran! I asked the man taking my order what was in my the one of the items, what he told me and what I received were completely opposite. I asked if I could switch out what they gave me with what I ordered. They told me they were unable to help me, and that they man taking my order was not at fault because he was unable to speak English. They were rude and argued that I should of read the menu better. I drove back the drive-thru to examine the menu more carefully; there was nothing on the menu that would have supported their argument. I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy!

The food was great! I recommend the chicken quesadilla and carne asada fries. However, there are two drive-thru lanes and somehow it took about 30 minutes to get from the end of the line to the window. There were only four cars in front of me at the time. It actually took me less time to drive home (over 10 miles) than it did to get through the drive-thru. Was the food worth the trip? Yes, and thats ultimately what matters when going to a restaurant. Id come back to try more from their menu, but I definitely wont come back at the peak of dinner time (around 6:15 PM).

Got potato, bacon, egg and cheese breakfast burrito. It is food, so if you are hungry it will work. Price seems about right too cuz they use the big tortillas. However it is tasteless. :( The eggs are chopped up so fine I cant taste them. There is way too much bacon and I dont even know if their is potatos in.... ah yeah... here is one. Biggest problem is that it is dry dry dry. :weep: I need a breakfast burrito that has more taste and has the chili IN the burrito. Better luck next time.
