My family and I have eaten at the Hopdoddy in Austin many times and always loved it. However, we didnt love the Hopdoddy Denver experience. We went on a Sunday around 6pm. It wasnt busy- there were many open tables inside and out. We stood in line for 30 min. to order. In spite of many empty tables, they seated us at Table #51 where every person standing in line hangs over your food including snotty-nosed, coughing kids who have their faces level with your food and only inches away. They should do away with that table - who would want to sit there??? We had a 2 for the price of 1 coupon for the burgers - and for our 3 burgers (1 was free), 2 specialty fries and 1 small fry, 3 beers - we paid $51 and change - with tip $61. Our fries came 15 minutes before the burgers so should have been called an appetizer/starter instead of a "side" dish since they did not come with our meal. We ordered a second round of drinks that did not arrive until after we had finished eating. The burgers and fries are very tasty but I would not go there again to spend around $75 for 3 people to eat a burger and thats with one of the burgers being free.

I’d walked past this place at least 20 times… Finally stopped in last Sunday 3pm…. The place wasn’t very busy which is what kept me from going in before. We sat outside which was nice…. However, that’s where it ended. We waited for over 15 minutes before we had to go to the bar to get our water…Let me remind you the place wasn’t busy. Finally I asked a waiter working the other tables if he could help us. No but he’d get our server. The server came took our order… the next time we saw him was when he brought the Check and Beers at the same time.. Let me say this again…. He brought our beers when we were done eating… He explained how’s he’s had a rough day… but was sorry for the bad service. For me, it was the worst service I’ve had at a restaurant in 20 years. Maybe the worst service ever..... How hard is it to feed people and give them a beverage.... I still left him a couple dollar tip…. Almost regretting it… thinking it will just encourage the rotten service. I hope this place goes the way of H- Burger…. GONE!!

Went in for lunch and got a DAMN good burger with an even better experience. This is the first time I have been there and had a fantastic burger! Consider it a cooked to order gourmet burger with all fresh ingredients. You dont get this everywhere... and I know for sure I would definitely come back. The set up and ambiance in Union Station is GREAT and the management staff (specifically Melissa) was on point the entire time we were there. She made sure our order was cooked to our satisfaction, she gave us recommendations, and was extremely professional. This is the type of management that is going to make the restaurant differentiate themselves from any other "gourmet burger joint" in the area. I will definitely be back and I am pretty sure it will be sooner than later! Outstanding experience!

The group I was with specifically decided to come here, as we were all craving a good burger. My only complaints are that my burger was over cooked (I asked for medium and there was 0 signs of pink) and that it took them an unreasonable amount of time to get our drinks to the table. I went with a group of people, so I was able to try 3 burgers. The burger pictured is the Buffalo Bill (subbed beef for the standard buffalo patty). I also tried the El Diablo and the Magic Shroom burger. The Magic Shroom burger was the best of the 3, hands-down. The burger was cooked perfectly (my friend asked for it medium-rare) and the basil pesto sauce on the bun gave the burger an amazing flavor. We also got an order of the garlic fries with truffle sauce, which were awesome. I would definitely go here again.

Juicy delicious burgers and great service. I cant wait to share this place with friends and family when theyre in town. Waiter was top notch and the food was out of this world good. Loved the fries... medium angus burger was perfectly pink and a medium rare and rare buffalo burgers also hit our table and everyone commented how spot on they were. Definitely will be craving this place from now on, look at how much juice is on my plate! Sorry no beautiful before picture... it was begging to be eaten. Looks like Wynkoop across the street is going to have to step it up... it will be hard for to go to Wynkoop after our first experience here. Before we found this place I said, "I want a really juicy burger and a great beer." --- thanks Google --- never left a restaurant more satisfied.

Staff is friendly, store is clean, but some things can be done better. The burgers themselves are not as good as Crave or Illegal Burger nor are they anything to really disregard either. Easily one of the better burgers in Denver but not that great. Sort of poorly cooked, but unique. The French Fries are wonderful and they have a huge variety of them, but overall pricing is expensive. The best thing about this place is their drinks. They have a good drink menu for a burger place and a huge custom soda fountain thats all fresh made and delicious soda. If you want to go for the burgers and milkshakes, go to Crave, if you want to try some unique burgers and French Fries, go to Illegal Burger... But If you want a good burger and a good drink, then Hopdaddys is a great place.

Really good burgers, with lots of variety. The place has a nice bar and soft drink selection and interesting condiments as well. You order at the register and then grab a table, which is usually assigned on your way in. Although I do enjoy the ordering system, it is a bit awkward that they give such good service. I know that sounds a bit strange, but they do drop by the table a lot, ask how things are going, refill drinks, etc. Since you pay upfront, you have to figure in the tip at that point, and it just seems out of whack. How much should you tip here? They do not take your order. Anyway, its confusing. It is a bit pricy, but you can taste the quality. All that aside, great burgers and worth a trip.

Very delicious burgers, drinks and shakes. The beers are served in huge chalice like cups. Not sure I love it but did seem like they hold a lot of beer. Primetime is delicious and cooked medium rare just as requested. Ahi Tuna is very fresh and a nice alternative. Fries. If you dont like fries Ill eat them for you. Hopdoddy makes excellent fries and cant wait to try the other types (Parmesan truffle was our choice this go round) Parking is very limited but I scored a meter space just outside the Wynkoop Brewery. Be careful as you only have two hours and parking police shows no mercy.

A former coworker in town tried Hopdoddy this past Thursday. Neither of us had been to the restaurant before but both wanted a burger and were close to Union Station, so after ages of passing by decided to give it a try. We were both very pleased. The restaurants atmosphere was stylish, modern and pleasant. The service was excellent. Best of all the food was not only our fast, but was delicious. We shared fries and both enjoyed our burgers. They were cooked perfectly and the toppings were fresh. Add in delicious cocktails and we had a great experience. Highly recommend.
