Mehhh how are these award winning??? They get an Xtra star because if you bought a dozen hoping it would be amazing and gave up after 2 bites into that undercooked flame torched disaster or 2 bites into that chocolate, cinnamon insult to a donut OR the worst insult to donut the lemon strawberry soggy mess and you insulted strawberries they were so bland!. But yet i spent a ridiculous amount of $$$ on crap I was not about to get bamboozled again!! So in case you made the same mistake....I gave them an extra star because they can be saved. Fret not!!! let them stale for 24 hrs +++ so you dont feel like ur eating raw dough either dip in coffee or cut up make a batter and delicious bread pudding. Bake the donut for 10 mins 350...make a custard 2 eggs to every 3-4 cups donut add milk add Cream or milk to moisten. Stale for 24+ hrs make custard soak Overnight add 2 cups dairy to 3 eggs & about a dozen donuts. Pour into favorite mold..glaze is you wish

With very few exceptions, Ive like the donuts Ive tried here (plus you get a free coffee if you buy one). Even though the coffee can be a bit stale, the acidity always cuts the flavor of a donut and makes it taste better. The reason I give three stars is actually that their selection leaves a lot to be desired. If you come immediately after a rush, you might only have one choice that is a flavor youre not in to. With regards to some of the reviews saying the donuts are stale, I typically only get donuts on Friday nights with some late night coffee from Carbon next door and they are almost always fresh baked. I could be lucky, or I might just be hitting their baking schedule on the nose.

I love donuts, and want to like Habit, but their selection tends to be as stale as their donut options. Their good flavors get sold out quickly, and they dont even make some of the delicious flavors they opened shop with. Over time the donut size seems to have become smaller but the price stayed the same...too high. On occasion Ive had very good donuts here, but more often than not they are disappointing. They should aim for more volume, lower their prices, and rotate out old inventory like VooDoo so the donut experience is more consistent.

Went there with a friend after shooting some photos at the platte bridge. Really like the atmosphere, playing gangster rap (Wu-Tang Clan) and the overall presentation of habits they have around the store. I had a chocolate donut. It was good but Im not a donut expert. It did come with free coffee, which is their own blend, so that was nifty. The donut was more expensive than Voodoo though. So its a give and take. If Im craving a gourmet donut Ill probably go to Voodoo but if i was in the area I would go back.

Very disappointed. The toppings were great and I loved their decor, but the dough was not awesome. Every one of the doughnuts was oily, like cheap doughnuts at a fair. So having spent double or triple the price of normal doughnuts, for something that is really under par sucked. BUT, maybe they are just not my style, so check it out for yourself! They are definitely worth checking out.

Eating a smores donut that I was made this morning and to be honest I dont eat any donuts latley but the glazed chocolate cake and butter milk bar donut from Voodoo but today I grabbed a smores and put it in my fridge and even at 6 pm the donut is fresh and as delicious as if it was made recent. Grahmcracker crumble still cunchy and ganache better than Voodoos.

Stopped in her on a whim and picked up a few different donuts. Not sure where the other reviews are coming from saying they are stale or the service poor- the guy who helped me was super friendly, and the donuts were fresh and tasty. Dough was great but will agree that the glaze was perhaps a bit too sweet. But all in all, solid selection and tasty donuts.

Habit is a fun place and they certainly have excellent doughnuts. They often have seasonal offerings so be sure the check those out throughout the year. Every doughnut I have had here has been excellent and really, only one will do the trick. They are big! The prices are a little expensive, about $4 each but they are big so keep that in mind.

The location was great and I was able to get street parking on a Friday morning. I am giving this place 3 stars because the donuts were just mediocre. I was expecting better tasting donuts, but they were a little dry and not the amazing flavors I was expecting. Certainly a fun place to check out, but it was under whelming.

Good, but not great doughnuts. The two we tried were incredibly sweet (and I say that as someone with a very heavy sweet tooth). Perhaps other options are more nuanced. Still, theyre better than average chain donuts, but they also cost $4 each. I dont think well be back, but I dont regret going once.

Eating one of Carbons donuts is like paying someone to yell in your mouth. Sickeningly sweet and too-intensely flavored glazes are like drinking a straight shot of coffee syrups. Maybe the doughnut was fresh and tasty, but youll never know because the glaze overpowers everything.

Pretty lame. The store and the staff were unwelcoming, the selection was very limited and the doughnuts were terribly over-priced. How were the doughnuts? Bad. Ive never had such a bad doughnut. Your average gas station can provide you with a better doughnut than this place.

Meh, big time. They must think they are in San Francisco and make really amazing products with great ingredients to justify the price. Untrue on all counts. The extra star is for atmosphere. Calling it now, they will gut it and figure something else out in 6 months.

Awesome place the name is hilarious and well played has really good doughnuts! I was overwhelmed and just had the server make their favorite. Had a powdered sugar doughnut covered in a liquor caramelized to be crunchy with cinnamon sugar on top. It was awesome.

Ive tried all kinds of donut places and this one beats the chains. Its better than Voodoos because the donuts have balanced flavor. They put care into baking them. The donut is crazy pricey though so I dont recommend buying a whole box.

Love all the complaining here about a $3 donut. Are you kidding me? You get what you pay for, these were absolutely worth it. Donuts were awesome, atmosphere was excellent and staff was on point. Go here, dont listen to anyone else.

Comparably priced to other designer donut places. Selection is interesting. Theres something in the dough that makes these special. Its like a pretzel and a doughnut together, and it works very well.

Very fun and unique donuts. The staff is super nice too and is willing to have a conversation. Im not picky about my donuts and would rather support a nice local business that makes their goods fresh.

Like the doughnuts, dont love the price... I guess its the price you pay for bourgie doughnut. I recommend going and grabbing one. I dont think this is really the place to grab a box for the office.
