Its funny to me how people rate businesses . Clearly Cafe Zuri is not providing WIFI or Labtop space and it is stated on social media and with signs all over the coffee shop. Why does somebody expect a service from Cafe Zuri which they dont offer? It is a "Coffee shop, with beverages and more." So why complain about Cafe Zuri not providing WIFI or space for laptops? You go there for different reasons. Cafe Zuri offers a place to sit down and to enjoy their drinks, pastries, quiche, and the company. It is a coffee shop where people take a break from technology. Why cant some people accept that? If you run a business, you expect from your customers that they accept your policy as well. All the WIFI offers are just a free service from certain businesses, not a GENERAL Policy for all businesses. And believe it or not there is not only Cafe Zuri who does not provide WIFI. Go to other countries and cities. Sometimes you even have to PAY for "FREE WIFI." Think about it. When you want to rate a business, do it objectively and about their real service. Not about what they dont have. It is pointless.

I dont often feel strongly enough about a place to leave a review, but this place sure deserves it. I went there for the first time with my dog, as a stop on our walk that day, and the man was incredibly polite, patient with my indecisiveness, and made my drink with great care and practice. having been a barista for several years, I know how hard it is to find another person to make a drink exactly how I would want it, but he did just that! Also, the outside space was clean and all the people who came by were friendly. The only thing I think new customers should know is that it is a very intimate space - great for individuals or small parties, but maybe too tight for larger groups. For me though, it was great and Ill definitely be back soon with my husband in tow!

I have lived in the Highlands neighborhood for eight years, and recently came across Cafe Zuri while walking my dog. I like the quiet local feel of this coffee shop. The owner is very friendly and makes every drink himself. They have almond milk! I prefer almond milk lattes and usually end up making them at home or settling for skim milk since it is rare to find a shop where this is offered. Ive been there four times just this week. My husband had the iced chai and loved it. The quiche is excellent - I had mushroom and spinach. The pastries are so fresh. I havent seen pastries like this since I studied abroad in Paris. Im happy that I have a fun, delicious neighborhood coffee shop to walk to in the morning!

I like to go for coffee shops for two reasons: a comfy place to chat with friends or do work on my laptop. This place doesnt allow laptops and has rigid, short backed chairs so it fails as a place for both. I left and went across the street to the cork which was very nice. Im still giving it 4 stars because I understand that they are targeting a very specific coffee aficionado crowd, so to someone else this could be a great place.

Went in there to work since all the other coffee shops on the block were full but they dont allow laptops or tablets, even if they havent sold a cup of coffee all day, and they were rude about it. Not very friendly or welcoming at all. I gave it an extra star since they ran off all their potential customers so it was empty and quiet even though I couldnt stay long due to their no electronics policy.

Cafe Zuri is one of the newest and best Highlands additions! Great service, great drinks, tasty pastries, and open/airy atmosphere. Having lived in the neighborhood for several years, the 32nd/Lowell section of the Highlands needed a consistent, quality place to grab coffee and a breakfast bite to go (or stay!) and now we have it. I highly suggest you stop in!

Rude. Asked for the wi-fi password to map something on my phone, which I was clearly using, and she said they dont give it out for laptop purposes. Not welcoming. They clearly dont want you to stay for more than 5 minutes while drinki g tour mediocre cappuccino.

A great spot. Good local business with great staff. What really makes this place the best is their ban on laptops. If you want to stare at a screen and drink coffee go to the invasive Seattle store, if you want real coffee and good conversation, go to Zuri.

What a wonderful find, the owners are so friendly and welcoming and the cafe Zuri coffee is the nicest - makes you want to buy some beans to take away. Terrific homely feel. Would definitely call by again if were in the area!

Espresso was great, not over roasted. The two pastries I tried were better than most of the bakeries I checked out while here.
