Charlie and his crew of coffee baristas absolutely rock, the best service I have experienced in the coffee industry. I have been a customer now for over a year and they always give a premium experience for the same cost of going to starbucks but without the generic feeling of being just another coffee addict and paying a premium price. If you happen to be in the area and you are wondering if you should go in or just go to starbucks instead you will do yourself a favor by going in and giving them a shot, they also sell outstanding artwork and hold community events, this is a shop that will always have my business!

The NCC is Westwoods coffee shop. Charlie and Co. are first enthusiastic and skilled baristas. Experiencing their attention to individual regulars and strangers alike is at once charming and real. I feel the efforts of a independent business in the burgeoning neighborhood is admirable and rare,and I appreciate the little guy. And this guy is the type genuine , unique character people tell stories about. Im a working stiff, and hemp milk macchiatos and corporate aprons are not my concern. I demand quick, strong coffee and a place to chill. NCC delivers.

I waited 45 min for 2 ham and cheese sandwiches, Small raspberry frappe , and a fruit smoothie that I had to pay for twice because she forgot..... I was the only costumer for 30 minutes I am embarrassed for this business. Not a happy camper. 23 bucks plus tip for crap service and a hipster environment

With the lack of coffee shops around Southwest Denver this place is not only unique but amazing! Went there to do some homework and the environment is very relaxed with great artwork around. Great coffee and delicious healthy options for food too. Love it and will definitely make this a new hangout spot!

Go here instead of Starbucks. I was looking for coffee on a desperately suburban strip of Alameda and found the Mean Bean. Amazing breakfast sandwich, tons of drink selection including hemp milk. Great service, cozy seating. Drive through if you cant stop in!

I bought a decaf coffee and was then told they didnt have decaf. Then another employee came from the back and asked me why I ordered a decaf. I left with the coffee, threw it out and went elsewhere to get what I wanted without criticism. I am never going back.

This place is a hidden gem! The ambiance is sweet and relaxed, I got so much work done and had no problem finding a table to set up shop at. The iced chai was delicious and the owner and employees provided excellent service. Will definitely be coming back.

Im from out of town, and Im staying at a Air B and B in the neighborhood. I stumbled across this place, and found a very friendly, family-run cafe, with fantastic food. I highly recommend this to anyone that likes good service, and delicious sandwiches.

I love their espresso. I get a jolt immediately and it tastes better than the fancy shamncy coffee shop near colfax. I love the lady who is always there. Great prices and they have hemp milk. Its my favorite.
