Ive been looking for a new coffee shop and unfortunately choices are fairly limited in the area I live in. After doing some research we decided to try out Caribou Coffee and actually went there several times. The environment is nice and usually it wast too difficult to snag a table near a plug for use with the laptop. Ill also say the coffee was good and they service was quick, which I appreciated. What ultimately turned me off though was the staff. In our 3 trips there we basically interacted with 4 different staff members. One set was a brand new person who was just starting out on her very first day. She had several problems with the register, but was so friendly and affable that we all just ended up laughing about it had a lot of fun. The person helping her also seemed friendly and was patient with her young apprentice. So, those two - GREAT experience. Unfortunately the other two times we went were not so nice. During those occasions I was served by a tall blond gentleman with zero sense of humor and a snobbish attitude. I was extremely friendly and tried to break the ice with him several times but all I ever got in return from him was the sense that I was an irritation. I was petty bummed out because we were looking for a new coffee home where could could go several times a week, get to know the staff etc, and this guy was making me feel very unwelcome. This happened each time we went in and he was there. On the last visit, we got a double treat. Captain irritable was there, and he had a female sidekick. She seemed friendly enough, but as the night got towards 8-8:30ish they started clowning around with each other (which normally I dont mind, I like people who are fun) but this lady was just cackling like a hyena. I mean LOUD. So loud it would break you out of whatever you were doing. Loud enough that it practically drove us right out of the establishment and definitely seemed to exceed the limits of basic professionalism (and I have a pretty low standard for that... Im not expecting white gloves and bowties here...) So, we left, and I was sad because I really did like a lot of things about the place and its close to home. Im not saying well never go back, or that those of you who review this should avoid the place, but I would say to the owner, should he/she ever read this... get more employees like your new girl. She seems to enjoy people and interacts with others well. You can have the best coffee in the world, but in the end business is all about interacting with people and making them feel welcome.

I walked in and drank some coffee, it was interesting, but not as interesting as the mounted antelope head that was leering over me as a sipped from my cup, it was very hot, and i forgot to get the sleeve, so i kept putting it down on the table. there was a checkers board, but no opponent, so I quickly became sullen for the desire to play checkers with a competitor. Halfway through my cup i realized I had to pee really bad. The bathroom was well lit, and very clean, the soap smelled like lilacs and honey. When I was finished I couldnt find my coffee. One of the employees had tossed it not knowing I had intended to return from my bathroom visit. After that I left. Ive never returned there, nor shall I for the rest of my life.

This is by far my favorite spot around. Ive tried all the local coffee shops and the chains and while this one is a chain it has a local feel and the staff treats you like friends and family. Jess and Jordan can whip you up a great handcrafted coffee. Its great when you see thier employees genuinely love working there. Like Aaron for example is always happy get some coffee going for you. And the fresh brews are always great. I also enjoy the mint tea. My favorite item on the breakfast menu is the chicken apple sausage.

I went today to get a coffee and breakfast sandwich since I had a perk of half off a medium drink with a breakfast sandwich purchase and once Anna C at the drive thru handed me my drink it was a small and she had no idea why and wouldnt remake it she said she asked the girl who made it but I seen she didnt and then handed my sandwich to me and didnt even bring up about the size I had to! On the receipt it said medium so since I paid for a medium I should get one!!!

I work across the parking lot and spend nearly every lunch here. These are some of the most friendly baristas Ive ever met. They have an assortment of different types of coffee (sugary, black, cold press, pour overs, etc.) which are all pretty good. Its not really a coffee snob place like Little Owl or Aviano, but it also doesnt cost $3.50 for espresso. For Gods sake, drive past the Starbucks and come here instead.

Its hit and miss with friendly staff. When I ask for dark roast coffee, they sneak me a medium instead thinking I wont notice. Of course I do, but dont make a big deal of it. That is an insult to a true coffee consumer. I know my coffee. I recommend local coffee shops that are more considerate and consistent in customer service.

The coffee is great and the ambience is comfortable (much moreso than Starbucks which always seem too dark). The service is good, but they consistently seem to be short staffed with long waits (ten minutes from order to coffee in-hand) One more person would make this a five star rating.

Stopped at the "up to 70% off" table - chose a mug which was obviously holiday and on the table.. it rang up regular price. When I asked the manager about it he was unable to help, stating it must not be on sale.. even though it was prominently included in the clearance holiday section.

This is a beautiful little coffee shop that has the feeling of a cabin up in the mountains. The service is always very friendly and efficient, and I think the coffee is better than Starbucks for sure. My fav is their white hot chocolate.

Easily the best coffee & breakfast sandwiches in the area. Weve been visiting this location for years. Always friendly staff. Coffee always hot & full flavored; not overly sweet like how some other big chains make their coffee.

Much better than Starbucks for a cup of straight-up coffee. havent tried the espresso drinks, not really my bag. staff friendly, atmosphere good. Im partial to taking a bag of ground beans home with me for the french press.

I come here about twice a week due to their smooth coffee and how welcome I feel to stay all day and work on whatever I need. Excellent place if youre looking for some darker roasts and a warm environment.

Great place to just duck into. Quiet, comfortable seating with plenty of outlets, and free WiFi. Coffee is OK. But whatever it lacks the place e makes up for in stellar service, and inviting atmosphere.
