Good beer selection. good food, albeit a little overpriced. Incredibly rude staff. Not all of them, but a few. Their policy is to not sit you until at least 75% of your party has arrived. They say its "first come, first served" even when all 9-10 tables in the back are empty and only two booths are occupied. Then they make a fuss about having a party larger than 4. Our party eventually grew large enough to need to combine 3 tables, but they wouldnt let us even though there were still open tables. What happened to first come, first served? Then they politely asked us to hurry up and leave because a party of 8 was about to arrive and they had a reservation. Again, what happened to first come, first served? There were still two open tables that could fit 8 people! Granted, they were on opposite ends of the room, but still, do a better job of seating people so the 2 open tables are next to each other when the party of 8 arrives. Ive been here for many happy hours on Fridays without having problems- hence the two stars- but this last experience was very unwelcoming. There are plenty of other bars and restaurants to choose from (at least 7 on the same block).

May have finally found a Denver gem for local fresh food and a wide array of craft beer selections! This place was only found from walking around downtown looking for a restaurant that could seat us right away on a Saturday night. The ambience inside was perfect and the star rating would have been perfect if they werent out of the two rare beers I selected from their menu. Nevertheless, just having a Wicked Weed IPA on draft and a Cigar City Stout bomber on the drink list was enough alone to promise an eventual return. The waiter advertised the food as all being prepared from local fresh ingredients with only the breads being outsourced from local bakeries. We were impressed given that the overall food in this city just isnt as top notch as the locals think it is. Probably because we hail from one of the hospitality capitals of the world (Orlando) where all food must be top notch in order to survive in a tourist town boasting the best of the best vacationing experiences.

Ate there early on a Friday night and had an excellent experience. We ordered a few small plates and a couple of drinks. One of the few times that we cleaned all of our plates. Left very satisfied. Price was very reasonable... with drinks, what I would expect to pay maybe $50+ for, we only paid $34. I will definitely visit again! UPDATED 5/25/2013: I went back to Freshcraft last weekend hoping to enjoy the previous experiences that Ive had. In the past I have stuck to the appetizers. I have to admit, the apps are consistently delicious. This time we ordered meals as well. I was very disappointed. I ordered soft tacos of some sort and my husband ordered a reuben sandwich. The insides of both meals were good, but the tortillas for my tacos were like rubber (inedible) and the extremely burnt side of the reuben was hidden facing down on the plate. I dont think Ill be back for a while, but if I do return, I will stick to the appetizers and drink.

Great food - There were plenty of options on the menu that caught my eye. I chose to order a ramen noodle bowl that was excellent, especially the broth. I think, sadly, it was seasonal, but I would highly recommend it. The other people in my group enjoyed their food as well. Nice beer selection - There were 2 boards that listed the beers on tap that included the names, types/styles of beer, the brewery, and the ABV for each beer. A very nice option was that a beer could be ordered in multiple sizes so if you hadnt tried one before, you could ask for a smaller pour. There was also a nice selection of bottled beers as well as some wines and liquors. Very friendly staff - They were pretty busy on a Wednesday night but our waiter was very attentive anyway. We also received our food not too long after ordering. Definitely a great place with a warm and inviting atmosphere thats an excellent choice for a night out.

When I was imbibing liquid gold at Crooked Stave, I asked one of the cool bartenders where a cool place would be for a cool guy like me to go and be cool (and eat and drink). I’m glad I took his recommendation. Firstly, the bartender I hunkered down in front of was very knowledgeable and talkative (I think his name was Jason). The most memorable thing about this place was that I happened in right after they tapped…wait for it…PLINY THE ELDER! Cosmic score! Any beer geek knows this is striking gold, especially we nerds on the east coast who never see it anywhere. So, that was badass. The flatbread chicken pizza was delicious as well—I ordered it to go and finished it before I got back to my car; that should tell you something. Highly recommended, and thanks to the dude at Crooked Stave who did the same for me. 4.5 stars.

I love beer. The staff at this place loves beer. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and unfailingly offer you a taste before you order a full pint. Food was simple, but good - the pretzel bites took me straight back to Germany. Only four stars because I wish their happy hour was a little better. The Appetizers are $1 off, and there is a special on mini sandwiches and beer, but the beer happy hour menu is restricted to $1 off of about 10 beers that all have ABV below 5.5%. They should really expand this to all their draft beers, maybe .50 off bottles. People like deals. Their prices are reasonable to begin with... there isnt the gouging you find at Falling Rock Tap House... or the snotty atmosphere, but in the crowded Denver market, I expect a little more from Happy Hour specials.

Stumbled into this place last year and was thouroghly pleased and impressed. Went back again tonight with my girlfriend and another couple and it totally lived up to my recollection! Food and beer selection is extensive, clever, affordable and masterfully designed. The staff is all knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly. It has an unassuming storefront but you walk into a buzzing front bar area and look back into a comfortable, warm dinning area with tables and booths. Overall this is one of my favorite places to go for full on meals or just drinks, all in a great atmosphere at the right price. NOTE: if you are an Iowa Hawkeyes fan than you are in luck because this place is an Official Hawk Watch each Saturday - GO HAWKS! Thanks FreshCraft, cant wait til next time.

Went here based on a recommendation from the hotel I was at. I can say it was a good start to my evening. The wrap I ordered was very tasty, the flavors hit you at different times and came through. The ingredients tasted fresh. The fries were the most unique I think I ever had and the special ketchup they had was something else. The bartender recommended some beers and changed it up based on what I said. Also he made some cold coffee drink that tasted good to give me a little pick me up. Id be back, and kind of wish I had ordered and appetizer to experience some of their other food.
