Had to give one star to continue but actually would not give any stars. Cant understand how they got any good reviews. Got sweet and sour pork and the sauce tasted like tomatoes. Awful!!! Waiter told us all sweet & sour was made with ketchup. Really???? We asked for our bill and he told us he could not take anything off. We told him we didnt want anything off that we just wanted to go. He said he would get the owner to talk to us which he tried even though we said we didnt want to talk to her. Heard her yelling at him but never came out. She is also the cook. Using that term lightly. Food was awful but along with that the waiter gave us lecture on how white Americans were just racist against Chinese. Really!!!!! The only thing that was edible were the crab cream cheese puffs and they were from frozen. That was obvious. Oh well, wont be back.

Colorado Springs Food Guy visited Moon Star II Moon Star 2 Chinese Restaurant located at 5873 Palmer Park Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80915. This is a casual but quaint restaurant decorated with modern Chinese flair. Moon Star II serves most of their dishes family style with huge portions to be shared. They also have single-serve dishes. I sampled the Orange Chicken and the Dieter’s Chicken dishes and they were but delicious. The Orange Chicken is definitely the best I have had in Colorado Springs. The Dieter’s Chicken was a delightful mix of chicken and fresh vegetables steamed to perfection. They put the sauce on the side to reduce the salt and calories. I love this restaurant and highly recommend it. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you are in the mood for some great Chinese food at a reasonable price, then visit Moon Star II.

Just left this restaurant they upgraded the look but not the quality of customer service. They are under staffed. It took forever to get a refill. Myself and my friend also witnessed the waitress clean the floor with the same cloth she used to clean the tables earlier. She had gloves on the entire time. She then grabbed to-go box for us wearing those same (stained, disposable) gloves... I mentioned it to her then she justified it by saying I washed the gloves. This was very unsanitary. I dont typically complain but the fact that I mentioned it to her and her response implied that she saw nothing wrong with cleaning the floor and then serving giving me a water and a box and other peoples food with a dirty gloves. That says to me, these habits might be normal practice in this establishment.

I would have given this one star but the food is good. The manager was rude to his employee and I because he was angry that the other employee told me I could have a side of siracha when theyre not supposed to give them out and the manager went on to humiliate the other employee and tell me that they are small business and siracha is expensive and insinuating that I am causing financial burden to them with a tiny cup of siracha. I called to talk to the manager and he continued to repeat how expensive siracha and they have a small business. I will not be going there again. UPDATE: In addition to this uncomfortable event, my fortune cookie reeked of sexism. Would somebody PLEASE think of the children?!?!

I was asked why I drive all the way from Fountain for Chinese and I couldnt answer properly. But I think the food speaks for itself. I recently moved out here and I have tried so many different Chinese restaurants to match my place from home. I am a pretty picky eater at times and was back home, but this place is far and away the best Chinese restaurant I have tried in Colorado Springs. The quality is unbeatable and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone whos been like me and searching for that place with just the right taste.

I will NEVER order food from here again. The food is edible but not great. The service, HORRIBLE. I called to place the order using my cell phone. When the food hadnt arrived an hour after placing the order, the manager said I was lying about calling earlier and I would ge the food later. Its one thing not to deliver the food within a reasonable time, but it is a completely story to call customers a liar. Especially when cell phone logs dont lie.

Dine in , pick-up,or delivery the service and food is great. Moonstar is a true Mom and Pop Shop. On busy nights the food might take a little longer, but each time you recieve the same quality and quanity of food. The egg rolls and fried rice are Colorado Springs best. The BBQ Ribs are messy and delicious. However, I am not a fan on the Seasame Chicken, but their Egg Fu Young is a master piece.

Weve been ordering delivery from here several times over the last 2 years. Finally got to have lunch there with my daughter -- what a GREAT little place! Nice new tables, floor and paint. The food was REALLY good: fresh, hot, tasty and the service wonderful! The Shrimp Lo-Mein was terrific. Best of all -- our lunch tab was $13!!! I HIGHLY recommend this little jewel of a restaurant!

They were an hour and 20 minutes late with my delivery and they didnt even offer an apology. They told me they could deliver on base but they sent someone with a "bad background" so he couldnt get through. My food arrived spilled within the bag and room temperature. Do not waste your time with this place and their poor business practices.

Excellent and delicious food, setting, and courteous and quick service. Outstanding price for such a delicious plate. I had the Sesame Chicken which came with a starter sweet n sour soup. The chicken was accompanied by rice, vegetables and an eggroll. Just what the doctor ordered during my lunchtime.

Hands down the best Chinese food we had in the Springs. Ordered delivery and food was hot when arrived, meat was perfectly cooked and vegetables was fresh and crisp. We ordered a couple of entrees and all was packed with flavor. Family loved it! Best salt and pepper wings! Thank you Moon Star.

We ordered online and 2.5 hours later and 2 phone calls to check in on the progress of our order, here we are eating grilled cheese. If youre going to have an online ordering system at least make sure it works. Disaster, terrible service. Wish I could tell you what the food was like...

Delicious!!! We just moved here and were looking for good Chinese. This is the spot! Great prices & everything was yummy. We had sea same chicken, combination lo-mein, fried rice, egg drop soup, crab rangoons, spring rolls, and egg rolls. Nothing disappointed! Definitely combing back!

Got the sweet and sour chicken and the sauce tasted like tin like it came out of a tin can. Got broccoli beef that didnt taste too bad, but hardly any sauce and the portion was incredibly small. The best part was the Chinese doughnuts. Can confidently say I will not eat there again...

Everything we got was over cooked and dried out. The sesame chicken was tiny pieces of chicken and hard as rocks, same as the bbq pork! Definitely will not be going here ever again! What a rip off, PANDA EXPRESS IS 100% better. HIGHLY UN_RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We tried a couple of Chinese restaurants since I moved here, but this place is UNBELIVEABLY GOOD! My girlfriend actually finished her whole entrée, which is the first. Delivery was on time as promised and everything was piping hot and fresh. Will be our go to spot from now.
