Very disappointing! We have tried this place twice and have been let down both times. To be fair we came back the second time to give it another chance. We lived in China for 3 years and had amazing food! The owner is supposed to cook excellent Chinese.......no wonder he is no longer in China. Guess he couldnt hack it in his own country. #1 the staff both times were not pleasant to deal with. The 2nd time the lady answered the phone by saying "heaven dragon, what do you want to order?". #2 both times the only thing that was correct on our order was the fortune cookie! Nothing we ordered even made it into the bag! #3 the prices are far more than any other Chinese restaurant in town. Your best bet is to go to Great Wall or Asia Inn. At least you will get what you order!

This has been my favorite chinese food restaurant for years, I love it! Other reviewers are right when they say the location does no good for this place, I think thats why its always empty. But, its convenient for me because I hate crowds and its 5 mins from my apartment :-) when the food is fresh, it is hands down the BEST. My only complaint would be that sometimes the food seems old, in which case it is not so good. I cant really fault them for that though I guess, because they dont seem to get much business. Still, the food is usually great and I love the ambiance. Its a cute building and the coy fish are pretty and fun for the kids to look at.

First, ignore reviews older than November 2016. They just opened. Dumplings are OK, steamed or fried. Very bland. Wonton soup didnt taste right Egg drop was good Sesame chicken was fantastic Happy family was nasty Pu-Pu platter was OK. Ribs were not good/bland. Presentation was nice The fried foods are not heavily battered like most Asian places. The main put off was the happy family platter. It didnt taste or smell right. But we couldnt convey our unhappy thoughts to the wait staff because they speak zero English. Its a very pleasant atmosphere being freshly renovated. Im also wondering if they have a furnace. Its bloody cold in here.

This place is wonderful. A complete turn around from the restaurant that was here before. (Lunch) Ordered walnut chicken with wonton soup and coconut shrimp. The chicken could not have been better. It had a batter which was light with just the right amount of crunch. Everything was very well cooked and attractively plated. Professional looking staff, front and back of house. Fast service despite a crowd. Updated inside and out. Attractive decor. Well lit. Good looking bar. Reasonable if not cheap. I will definitely be back. A true gem in Brighton.

Tried calling 5 times but was transferred to a voice mail each time. I called the Heaven Dragon in Thornton for some assistance. She assured me I was dialing the right number but she said she was too busy to help me any further. I was looking forward to ordering Chinese tonight and was excited to find a Heaven Dragon in Brighton. This is unfortunate because this is a new restaurant I would have been happy to write a good review for.

Loved it, the food was very good.. it came out quickly and the portions were very large..I could have shared my lunch with one or two other people.. the building was clean and beautiful with a coi pond right inside the entrence. And our server, she was a young girl with a very polite smile.. she was prompt and helpful..I will definitely be returning!!

This review is for the Brighton Heaven Dragon. Ive been there 4 times now and everything has been delicious and great service. Tried the sesame tofu, best ever. Almond chicken, jalapeño chicken, basil chicken all excellent. Food arrives very quickly after ordering. Egg rolls are wonderful.

Food tasted good but it couldve been a little warmer, came out of the kitchen within 5 minutes that made me think it was already made and just sitting under the heat lamps. I had mongolian chicken and I think they put a little too much scallions. Great atmosphere.

So tasty! Ive been to China three times over the last several years, and theres a lot of Chinese food that I simply cant eat anymore. But Heaven Dragon is fantastic! Every dish we have is delicious, and the service is always very good. Highly recommended!

After going to the original heaven dragon in Thornton for years and being IN LOVE this branch was really disappointing. The food isnt even near the quality of the Thornton location. Ill stick with the longer drive for better food. Im

Vietnamese grilled pork (pictured) is very good. Shrimp with vegetables has a white sauce that I prefer over the brown sauce thats on other entrees. Brown rice is very good...convencenced me to try brown rice at home again.

Food was fast and delicious. They were very accommodating of my two little girls. The bathrooms were extremely clean and the staff was friendly. So thankful for Brighton to finally have a good option for Chinese food!

They have the best Chinese food i have ever had..hands down. I have no idea why nobody hardly eats there it seems. Must run a Asian hooker ring through the back of the restaurant. Regardless...best Chinese around.

UPDATE: Our latest visit, at night for dinner around 6PM on a weekday was a DISASTER. Cranky old ladies as servers, did not know or care to serve like a professional. We were embarrassed for her and her Associates.

Been going to Heaven Dragon in Thornton for years. New location is really nice, much more modern than Thornton. You can tell they have different chefs. Food is prepped slightly different but still same great food.

Really excellent food, good lunch prices, another popular favorite with my coworkers. Staff was friendly the restaurant is fairly quiet. Apparently the cocktails are good. Cant speak from personal experience.

Not great, average at best. This is typical Americanized Chinese food for old white folks. Knew it was going to disappoint when I didnt see any Asians eating here. Even the fortune cookie was old and stale.

Surprisingly very good Chinese food! Not super oily like many other places can be, and very flavorful! We picked up takeout, so I have nothing to say about the wait service. Very generous portions too.

Wonderful decor imported from China. Service was excellent. The roast duck (Peking Style) was juicy, tender and delicious. The Seafood hot pot was good, savory broth. This place is just wonderful.

It has been open just 5 months and I have only been there once. We had take out and it was fast and the food was great. They also have a sit down area that will hold about 30 people, nice atmosphere.

Grew up near the one off 120th and Colorado. Super excited they moved one out to Brighton. Now I dont have to drive all the way out there from Lochbuie. Always good food, service, and prices.
