Ive eaten at Yu Hong several times, and my work colleagues and I love it. Yu Hongs big business is take out, but theres great service in house. The décor is fluorescently dreadful, but with the great food, who cares. My favorite dish is the Hunan Chicken. The hot and sour soup is as good as any Ive had anywhere. My colleagues are equally pleased. Chen, who "mans" the register, is delightful. On our second visit we were conversing about her family in China and our jobs at our school nearby. Yu Hong is at Oneida and Colfax, so there is a somewhat seedy East Colfax atmosphere. Its not scary, and theres a great neighborhood just four houses up the street. Theres a parking lot just north of Yu Hong, off Oneida, just north of the restaurant. 4/15/2016...update...Still consistent and great food. I was in the mood for some celery, and Chen told me anything could be made with extra celery. It was just right. She must have ESP. Amazing flavors, as good as any Chinese food Ive had in Denver or anywhere else for that matter. 8/18/2016..update....Five of us went to Yu Hong for lunch. Service was prompt, food was great. I had kung pao shrimp, perfectly cooked. Others were equally pleased. One of my colleagues had his "special," which is a concoction of ingredients he likes. Even after 3 months of summer break, Chen remembered exactly what he wants in it. Just amazing.

If you are looking for a quality chinese food restaurant at reasonable prices this is a great spot. I recently moved to Aurora and decided to give this restaurant a try. They mainly deliver and from the outside you wont be impressed but once you are inside its a complete 180. The inside is very nice but small, they mainly do deliveries. The staff is friendly, polite, and accommodating. My gf and I had kung pao chicken, sesame chicken, and noodles. The kung pao chicken wasnt too spicy but had excellent flavor and an assortment of vegetables. The sesame chicken was sweet and exactly what you expect. The noodles were hot and a great element to mix with the meal. The portions were an 8" by 8" plate, so more than plenty. If you are new to town stop into this place on the corner if you are craving quality chinese food.

Not to our pallets Severely OverPriced. Not for a family on a budget. (Best Deal. 8 Beautifully Golden Brown Buttery Shrimp. $6) Hubby got Shrimp Egg Foo Young. No shrimp in the pizza slice sizes of egg in the dish. Just 8 medium shrimp to the side with a BUCKET of sauce and bean sprouts. His fave dish disappointed. My fave restaurant 135 Chinese Restaurant was closed today and I wanted salt n pepper shrimp. There I get 20 Very Spicy shrimp, with huge peppers, jalapeño, Onions, and rice for $6.50 Here I got 10 shrimp, a pan full of cabbage, with tiny flecks of, onion and pepper but Loads of garlic and rice (rice was good). Shrimp was cooked good. $12. Spent $32 If our restaurant been open would have saved $16 :-(

Ordered a very simple meal. Egg drop soup. Combination fried rice. Fountain soda and egg rolls. My meal was 35 minutes late Plus my meal was very cold. The ice was melted in my drink and watered down. I couldnt even tell it was sprite. I also asked for bean sprouts in my rice but none was added. Very unsatisfied.

This place is amazing! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Its great for take out, but dining in is pleasant too. The employees are very nice. In fact, a few months ago I was looking for fortune cookies for a school project (my school is a few blocks away), and they gave me 30 for free.

We ordered food for take out one night for dinner and it took over two hours for it to be delivered. Once it was finally delivered it was cold. Needless to say we will never be ordering from here again. Huge disappointment.

Wow! Dont judge a book by its cover. Finally tried this place a couple of weeks ago, and have been back three times since. The staff is super friendly and the food is hands down the best in the area. Our new go-to favorite!

I ordered the steamed pork dumplings and the beef with broccoli. Both were pretty low quality. The vegetables were fresh enough but the meat tasted cheap. The portions are nice and big though.

Yu Hong has delightful food I have enjoyed on several occasions. I have also had delivery. Ask for the pamphlet with delivery options. An impressive number of delicious dishes.

Mongolian beef sucked in a previous review they said it was the best he ever had. I thought it had no flavor and lacked texture. They were fast and very friendly.
