I went to Kneaders on July 3rd for a job interview as the Pastry Chef (Im a culinary Arts/ baking and pastry student). I walked in at about 8:55 AM and my interview was at 9:00 AM. I drove 20 Minutes to get there and when I arrived It wasnt very busy. As soon as I walked in and told the guy at the front that I was there for an interview I got funny looks and the positive energy I had quickly turn sour. The person that was actually the manager didnt interview me, He sent the cashier to. He took receipt paper and ask me 2 questions and then asked for my phone number. He never inquired about my credentials. My name is Alissa, but I am black. This was the first time Ive ever experienced racism in my entire life. I walked into the Kneaders and knew from the moment I was greeted that because I am a black Woman that I wouldnt be treated fairly or concerned for a job. Just wanted to let everyone know so that they can be aware of the establishments that they support.

Boo! Very bummed that we had such a bad experience tonight. Went through the drive through to get a few desserts and they were out of everything we initially ordered. I asked what they did have and the lady helping us said their pastry chef was ill so they were trying to make it work with what they had. She told us what they had so we made new selections, and she said it would be ready at the window. We pulled forward and waited at least 5 minutes and no one even acknowledged us. A girl was mopping and when she finished she walked by the window, and still no one acknowledged us. We waited another minute or two and finally decided to leave. Im pretty patient but I know how long it typically takes to grab the desserts and there was only one car in the parking lot so I dont think they were super busy or anything. In reading some of the recent reviews it just sounds like this location is a disaster.

If there was less than one star, I wouldve used it. Was there on a Saturday for lunch. Ordered pastries for dessert. First one had to be returned because it was undercooked--translation: raw. They replaced it with a different kind of pastry; it too was raw and had to be returned. While going through our 5 minute pastry fiasco, noticed that two other customers also had issues with their orders. One returned his pastry because there was parchment paper cooked into it. The other had an issue with her entire order made incorrectly and alsomissing an item. Spoke with the owner who was very defensive and said we were wrong about the pastries being undercooked. Will follow up with the corporate office. WILL NOT be returning to this location. Weve had many meals at the Kneaders at Arapahoe and Jordan. They are fabulous. From now on, thats the only location we will be going to.

I got hooked on Kneaders All-You-Can-Eat French toast at the Parker location last year. This is the first time I have been to this location and as expected the layout is the same; however road access is better at this location. It was a typical busy Saturday and as I was familiar with from the Parker location, there was a wait. Unfortunately the manager said they were down 2 people so it was taking a little longer as well to get the food and coffee out. I believe the French toast is worth the wait, so of course I stayed. I have not had anything else here besides the French toast. Thick French toast, tasty butter syrup, strawberries and LavAzza coffee. Yes please!

On Fourth of July our service was ok.... Understading that it was the holiday it would be busy but to run out French toast.... Ordered the pancakes and sat down. Then 10 mintues later they came to our table and said they ran out of pancake mix.... Order a cinnamon roll which they didnt have either. Brought my family in today at 1105 and was disappointed again that breakfast ended at 11.... Have to say the one on Arapahoe Rd has way better service then this one on Smoky Hill.

Kneaders has some great baked good. This location - no one ever seems to know what they are doing. Or, you pay for something the dont have. Definatly not a place to visit if you have less than several hours to spend scratching your head wondering what the staff ate thinking. I kind of feel bad for all the young innocent and ignorant youth that work there. A little extra training to go along way.

Its been 3 hours and Im still mad about this place. I ordered and then went and sat down. After 25 minutes, I asked for a refund. Was told no because they were still making it, then told that they called my name but couldnt find me. ( only 2 people in there)Finally after 5 minutes, they gave me $ back with no apology and no food.

Great food, good value. Sometimes the service can be a little slow, but we typically order ahead before going to pick it up. The french toast is the favorite-- not going to lie. It is definitely not a low calorie meal, but it is thick cut slices cooked up to perfection and with their caramel sauce..... get some.

totally disappointed - nothing like I expected a deli sandwich to be like. We ordered a Reuben and a French Dip. Very little meat. Glad we tried it but will not go back. Too many other choices out in this neighborhood! As this is a new business, we thought the food and service would have been stellar.

This is one of my favorites places!!! They have everyday really yummy soups and healthy sandwiches and smoothies . The ambiance is super cozy and the service is good. My favorite smoothie is Tango Mango and my favorite sandwich is hazelnut tuna. You cant ever go wrong with wathever you choose.

Was going through drive through. Ordered panini and salad, coffee with cream and sugar. When. Got my order, coffee was black and no sugar, no plastic ware to eat the salad with, no napkins, no chips. Took almost 20 to get my order ready. Not going their again.

While the food is great the service is terrible. My food sat on the serving counter while the servers and owner chatted and chatted. Took them awhile to finally notice it was ready and deliver it. Painfully slow service every time I go.

Good mix of different sandwiches, salads, and soups that are all tasty. I just wish this location had a few more pastries to choose from. Seems like other locations have more of a selection.

Service was so very slow. My salad came without dressing, so I had to go ask for that. There was no dressing on my daughters sandwiches. She had to ask for that too. Food is good. ....

Food is high quality and the employees are helpful. Only 4 stars because their sandwiches tend to not have much meat. However, their soups, smoothies, and other foods are taste great!
