I think the people giving this place a 5 star rating are either high or paid by the restaurant. The egg roll was soggy, rice tasted burnt, the sesame chicken was hard and over fried. The only thing that was okay was the fried dumplings. Plus you had to pay extra for soup, extra if you wanted egg roll instead of cream cheese wonton. WTH! I have eaten at plenty of places in the area and have gotten soup, fried rice, an entree and a egg roll for the same price I paid for rice, egg roll and entree. Heres what really took the cake for me. The filled the entree part with a ton of noodles and cabbage so you really dont get as much of the entree as you think. Plus .35 extra if you want more soy sauce. They only give you one of each sauce packet. Yeah no, oh hell no. The pics below are our leftovers. We had not eaten in 8 hours and my husband is a very big eater. We were just beyond disgusted. I will never eat there again. Do yourself a favor and find something else to eat.

This facility was established back in 1982 or 83 when I was born. The owner is tenaciously hard-working. The food is good and the portions have grown in size. Now they have for instance a large combination fried rice enough to feed a family of 4 for the same price that they had a few years back for a traditional large Chinese food container. It is huge in portion. Now I have not went over there whole spectrum of food on their list. I recommend you come down and try something you like and then try something new. Since 1983 they have been making great food and servicing the public respectfully.

LOVE the service! This is the only place I will eat egg-rolls from! This Chinese food is the real deal, Ive eaten here since I was a teenager and they are always welcoming, accurate and reasonable with delivery time and prices. Every here and there, you might get that one person that kind of makes your experience a bit difficult or youll get your food cold, but just let them know and they will definitely fix it. Just now we ordered some food and they told us itll take 30 minutes or more but the guy showed up 15 minutes early! Food was fresh, hot and as always, delicious. Thank you China Chef!

this place was nice, the food is good, but the driver just accused me of trying to steal 15 dollars worth of rice, my feelings are hurt, my family and i ate here once a week for years, but never again, just know if you order with a card the driver will want the credit card, your id, and a birth certificate to prove that your not ripping them off, thats their business, but i dont spend my money at places that act like every loyal customer is a crook, does anyone know of a good Chinese spot that delivers in the hoffman heights section of aurora??????

Found this place on Google decided to try it since were in from out of town and we were very pleased. The pork fried rice was delicious. The pork lo mein was perfect and the veggies stir fried in were a nice surprise. The orange chicken was fresh and had a very good flavor. It did not take long to receive the order and there was a lot to choose from on the menu. Also the egg rolls were to die for. Overall I will definitely make it a point to visit again. It did surprise me to see its take out only but that doesnt sway my review at all.

Went here a March 22 2016, and it was delicious. I got the Mongolian beef combo plate (came with fried rice and choice of egg roll or two wontons) i got the egg roll. I called and was asked when i would be there, not told when it would be done....ASKED WHEN I WOULD BE THERE SO THEY COULD MAKE IT FRESH AND THEY DID! I got there a couple minutes early abs watched them prepare each item, and i was not disappointed with anything. Ill be going back again and again.

Besssst of allllll chinese food! take out or not its on the top of my chinese food restaurant . 1* you have visual on all the chiefs while they are cooking/ doing their thing. 2* all of the chiefs are chinese...yes thats right! how often do you see that. 3* its clean,fast and affordable. located on 6th & peoria. do not be fooled by other china chief location & menu. dish recommend, chicken chow main and any of their fried rice. its booooomb.

I ordered delivery from this location last week! I thought it was really good, so I decided to order from them again tonight. The girl on the phone told me they do not deliver to my location!! I told her that they delivered to me last week! She said her delivery area was 3.5 miles. Again I will tell you that they delivered to me last week. I am 4.2 miles away from their location!! This is so sad as they lost a good customer!!! :(

Just plain horrible, ordered sesame chicken, gave me heavily breaded chicken with a goopie Orange sauce, and that is all I could taste was the sauce, no sesame seeds no heat to it, then the fried rice was nothing but Brown rice. Called to complain about the meal and was told that is how it is made, no Im sorry, we can give you a credit for it, nothing. Will NEVER EVER order from them again, very disappointed

Food is good but Ive ordered from here for 5+ months and never had a delivery issue with how far I live - 4 miles away. They have previously charged extra for delivery which I was very willing to pay. Last 3 times I have tried to order the lady has refused to deliver even though I have offered to pay extra as they have done in the past. I will not be ordering from here again.

We love this food! I always order for carry out (instead of delivery) and the food is always plentiful, hot, tasty and ready on time. It is more expensive than a nearby dollar a scoop, but it is worth the cost. There is no dine in, it is only carry out. But even their meals are enough to last me for two meals.

China Chef has the BEST Chinese food in the Mid-West! Ive lived all around the country and have eaten at dozens of Chinese food restaurants and this is still the best Ive ever had. Get their Mongolian Beef - its fresh, the meat is of high quality, and the flavor is amazing. I just wish they were open on Mondays!

We arent impressed anymore. It used to be one of our favorite places to go because of the quality and the amount of food for the price. Something changed in the meat they use, it has a LOT of gristle. We probably wont come back. Wouldnt recommend the kung pow beef unless you like flavorless rubber.

This is the BEST Chinese food in town. Ive been loyal customer for 22+ years and never had a bad meal. Portions are generous. They will make whatever you like, made to order. The same staff has been there and they take care of their customers. I will travel to Aurora when I want Chinese food.
