Today your "system" went down as my wife was getting 4 burritos made. The person behind the counter told my wife when she went pay that the system was down and she couldnt take credit - my wife said ok I have cash I can pay in cash. The person. Our system is down and we cant take credit or cash. Huh this makes no sense?!?! You made the burritos (which cost money) you have some one behind the counter (which cost money) your lights are on the a.c. is running (all cost money) but you wont take CASH FOR burritos???? Who is running this place?? What kind of business model is this?? Training needed?? Woww!! WHO turns down cash??? Dumb move El Patio!!

This is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. I come from Sacramento all the time to eat here because nowhere in the Sacramento area can compare to the quality of the food at this restaurant. Delicious, authentic, great prices, and quite possibly the best salsa bar in all of Northern California. As far as the reviews below, it is a downright lie to say that they try to rip you off by not giving you a receipt, because they HAVE to give you a receipt because it has your order number on it. And those who say this isnt authentic Mexican food have probably never even had authentic Mexican food - this is as authentic as it gets.

I usually have the chicken burrito supreme. Reminiscent of the taquerias in San Francisco. Huge portion, although a little pricey. I received a $ 20.00 gift card for Christmas and I used it once for my burrito with a side of chips and guacamole, and I now have only $4.00 left on my card!!!! Unfortunately, I am not as mobile as other people are, so I can not splurge on myself like I normally would. This place must be good, because it is always packed. Keep up the quality of the food and the service and you will be around for many years.....................Mark McCloud

One time i was in line in the drive thru waiting as i was the third car back from placing my order.by the time i got up to the speaker box they just shut down. The car in front of me got to order but wouldnt let me order even tho i was waiting in line before they actually closed. For this i give them thumbs down. If your in business to make money? They didnt want mine . this place is a joke. Maybe people will read this and wont go there and then they can all go home early or better yet they wont have to go in at all if they just shut their doors and stay home.

Check your receipts, the price theyre charging didnt match the menu price in my case. I noticed the person in front of me didnt get a receipt so I had to ask for mine after getting my change and food. When I told the employee the prices dont match the menu, all he said was oh yea theyre going to fix that. Short story is they dont honor menu prices. And theyre trying to pull a fast one by not giving receipts unless asked for. Not bad food, but shady business people. So they lost this familys business.

My favorite place for tacos, burritos, and salsa. This review is long overdue, as Ive been coming here for more than 10 years. The beef crispy tacos are definitely my favorite, and I always have trouble choosing what to get because everything is so good. The breakfast burrito is also fantastic, a great way to start a day or a trip. The salsa is the cherry on top, its delicious, its thin, and it has just enough spice to flavor ratio to make you crave it all the time.

This was our first time to El Patio and the service was great, very quick and the food tasted amazing. We had heard lots of good things about them from others and decided to finally try out their food. Not long after we arrived the restaurant filled up confirming how great it is. We will definitely be coming back and appreciate the great service!

This place is authentic. Period. Can say no more. Absolutely the number 1 Mexican eating establishment in this area. Hands down, the food beats any place within 25 miles. You gotta try the chilli Verde burrito. They are huge and delicious. Along with the other stuff they serve, they serve it all well.

My favorite place for a breakfast burrito in the Sacramento area. Everything on their menu is unbeatable and delicious. The machaca breakfast burrito is great because its not a complete sloppy and wet mess. Its easy to eat without dripping it everywhere while still being moist. Definitely a family favorite!

Great food but the last two times we have gone in the place they always seem to run out of menudo. No matter what the time it is they need to be served it all day Sunday. We have stopped in at different times and get the same response "were out!" Lets make more guys because it is delicious.;

Great food. Great price. Nice ambiance without being garish. AC is much too cold (though it was 80 today after weeks of 90s and 100s). I had the chicken enchilada and beef tamale combo. The tamal was really good and the chicken enchilada was super, super good.

I come here with my boyfriend for the super tasty carne asada fries and they never disappoint! Also the staff is nice and the place is pretty clean. Great place and tasty food. The pricing is okay too. Not super cheap but not super expensive.

Ive lived here in Woodland all my life and I would have to say that El Patio is by far the best Mexican restaurant. They have a great menu but their CARNE ASADA FRIES are the best. My whole family loves this place.

Breakfast Burritos are the best here. Little slow while going through the drive thru, but completely worth it. Edit: breakfast is served all day, so if you are wanting breakfast, you can get it here.

The food is great, and I like that there is a drive through. Its usually crowded though, and trying to get out of the parking lot can be a pain.
