The food took forever to come, even though there was not that many people in the restaurant. The salad had a weird dressing on it. I think it had cinnamon in it, definite not the traditional dressings your get at a Japanese restaurant. The batter on the tempura was not cook all the way through. The chicken in the bento box was over down too. In the upside, the staff was was nice and the atmosphere was nice.

As far as Sushi goes this is the best in Santa Cruz county, cozy authentic atmosphere. Fresh Maki, good prices, and friendly staff. I have tried lunch boxes and sushi at every Japanese place in Santa Cruz county and this place is a notch above. I went during lunch rush was greeted with a smile and seated promptly. Food was served swiftly, was exactly as ordered, and tasted as it should, no rubber sushi here!

I love this place, great sushi and if you have a prob, theyll fix it! One time they gave me half a size California Rolls so I said something and the waitress even agreed with me, so she brought me better and normal size looking California Roll ♥ been comming here since young and still love it come here with my family all the time!!!

I have been to a lot of Japanese & Korean restaurants. Sushi. Korean BBQ. Some of them have Michelin stars. This is the bar people. This is the standard to which I hold all the others. None can compare. Seriously. Just go. Order some oshinko, and thank me later.

De. Li. Ci. Ous. I was driving down from San Francisco and pulled over at Imura expecting solid sushi given the reviews it had but I have to say that it exceeded expectations. The sashimi and special sushi roll were damn tasty. Try it, enjoy it.
